GFHockey Loudly to Bartender--"GET EVERYONE A DRINK! WHEN GFHockey DRINKS, EVERYBODY DRINKS!" The Patrons all cheer and applaud. GFHockey hands the Bartender a $5 and says keep the change and says loudly "WHEN GFHockeY PAYS, EVERBODY PAYS!"

7-3 or 8-2 was my expectation of where we would be coming out of the pod. Still attainable.

Not to read too much into it, but hands on shoulders in support and rest of team with arms locked in solidarity seems to be missing from what Schlossman had reported the plan to be? The rest of UND's players are expected to lock arms alongside Weatherby and Bernard-Docker, who were both voted alternate captains by their teammates before the season. Those standing next to them will put their hands on their shoulders to show solidarity. "Everyone has their own values and beliefs," UND captain Jordan Kawaguchi said. "No matter what, we're still a team and support each other. We want to make sure everyone knows there is no disrespect to anyone. We want to respect everyone. This is a sign of support to a certain cause and no disrespect to anyone.

The players won't likely feel any affect from their actions directly. Like I said I am indifferent to anthem kneelers and people are allowed to believe what they want in regards to kneeling. Some of the people who are not fans of it may be alumni, represent corporations, and own businesses and it certainly is their decision whether they want to be associated with or contribute to this activity.....from the sounds of things it has not gone over very well in Fargo and the Team Makers are feeling it in their pocketbook. UND Hockey is counted on to generate revenue, sponsorships, and contributions to help fund the non revenue generating sports. So what happens if some of those funds shrink or dry up? Like I said, it won't be the hockey teams that feels the pain first. It will be the other programs that suffer first and would be on the potential chopping block first. The athletes on scholarship in those sports would be next. Maybe an assistant in the athletic directors office or coaches office loses hours or their job. If enough money disappears maybe the team loses their chef, maybe the facilities they enjoy don't get updated, maybe the stick budget shrinks, cost of living stipends shrink. It will be the athletes 2-4 years down the road that will feel the Law of Unintended Consequences...or maybe all the alumni and other contributors just shrug their shoulders and continue on business as usual.

Do they really have a choice? What if a player wants to stand still and respect the flag and the anthem?
-
And actually we did not pull his scholarship.
-
It's not like we found out what he did 5 years ago last month.
-
Umm. We recruited him and offered him a scholarship.

I heard about it a couple weeks ago. Timing of the article on the same day the Champions Club email went out probably couldn't be any worse. NDSU has been hit pretty hard with many donors saying not this year...guess we will see what happens in Grand Forks.

I have pretty much grown indifferent to flag protests. For the most part I look at them as empty virtue signaling or someone craving more attention than they get as being a part of a team...just my opinion. I think these guys have not looked more than a day down the road. Which in UND's case could push the first domino. You receive a scholarship and play a revenue producing sport and have everything you need to be successful and advance your hopeful pro career while also receiving an education. This sport also attracts donations from alumni and corporate sponsors which help you to have everything you could want and more(we, our fans and hockey team are spoiled and I am ok with that!). The sport you play is also leaned on to help fund the non revenue sports on campus which afford playing opportunities and scholarships to their fellow student athletes. If/when the money starts to dry up it won't be hockey that gets cut but the non revenue sports will feel the pain first and could also lead to sports going away and the opportunities for your fellow student athletes being cut.

The Law of Unintended Consequences. I have heard that the NDSU "kneel down" went over like a fart in church with a few corporate sponsors in Fargo as in "2020 has been a tough year, talk to me next year"

2020-21 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Just a guess but I am guessing students and band members will also have seats allocated to them as well. -
You might get some conflict between the left wing media and the lunatic left wing media if and when Biden tries to establish a left leaning policy instead of a whack job left wing policy.

You do know that Brennan is probably the biggest pile of sh!t to ever hold a position in the intelligence community? If you are looking for any credibility for yourself and you should be, this is not a person to reference for anything.

Looks like BLM is looking to cut ties with the domestic terrorist "idea". https://www.dailywire.com/news/portlands-black-blm-activists-say-theyre-done-with-white-antifa-want-separation?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=benshapiro

Well after watching some of the testimony at the hearings in Pennsylvania today I can certainly see why the Dems and THEier MEDIA arm want to quickly move on.
-
I am pissed about this as well. I will get over it if the Judge in this case loses his position. Flynn should have needed to be pardoned as this should have been dropped months ago....should have never been a thing to begin with.

Just a coincidence that he did better in the large metropolitan areas that didn't quit counting ballots in the middle of the night(still have not heard a reasonable explanation for that by the way). Just pure randomness that Milwaukee, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Detroit quit counting ballots and they are the cities with statistical irregularities and shady behavior with regard to the count and observation of the counting centers....Philadelphia and Detroit are notorious for this sh!t every election so no surprise there.
