I am not insinuating the referees themselves would favor one team over another but the way they call games can be an adjustment.

If I had to bet on who would win the FCS title this spring it would be hard to bet against NDSU.

I am guessing they send 4 referees to each regional...with the mix of teams in the regionals I would guess it would look like this Wisconsin's Region--4 NCHC referees UND's Region--Hockey East/ECAC referees BC's Region--WCHA would be the fairest as the Eastern officials overlap a little bit between ECAC and Hockey East. Minnesota's region--Hockey East or AHA

They better be careful as they will likely have Hockey East Officials.

How I think it will be UND vs. Bemidji St. and Mankato St. vs. UMD BC vs. St. Lawrence an Michigan vs. Quinnipiac Minnesota vs. UNO and SCSU vs. LSSU Massachusetts vs. AIC and Wisconsin vs. BU How it should be UND vs. St. Lawrence and Michigan vs. Quinnipiac BC vs. UNO and Mankato vs. UMD Minnesota vs. Bemidji St. and SCSU vs. BU Massachusetts vs. AIC and Wisconsin vs. LSSU

St. Lawrence would be our first round opponent in a normal year.....unless Canisius beats A.I.C

Big 10 is fairly similar. Really noticed it when we played Minnesota in 2019 and their forwards would be moving up the ice with the puck and they thought they would be able to make east and west moves and dangles heading through the neutral zone and would be surprised over and over at getting their stick lifted and the puck taken by a backchecking UND forward. Backchecking is an afterthought. For many of the forwards in these conferences they have two phases to their game 1. Offense 2. Waiting to be on Offense

Someone needs to buy the announcer a thesaurus. He has said penetrate, penetrated, or penetration about 25-30 times in the first quarter. Also, judging by the inflection he uses he probably needs to get laid.
