Drewiske reached over the bench and punched him right in the face.

Wisconsin up 2-1 after 2. Roe got cheapshotted at blueline(knee to knee and horsecollared), no call so he gets up and runs the kid into boards right by the Bucky bench for the 5 and dq. He got punched by player from Wisconsin bench so I would expect the WCHA to hand out additional penalties or is that only if UND is involved?

Just have heard too many Gopher fans try and equate the 2. And don't get me wrong, every Sioux fan and probably a few others expected the Sioux to win that game, but 80 shots, 46 on goal and 6 off the pipes and we lost.

Are you comparing a win by the #2 seed Ferris State over the # 3 seed UND with #4 seed Holy Cross over #1 seed Minnesota? Just curious if that is the direction you are trying to take this?

When I was at UND, instructors were not allowed to take attendance, but several of them would have a daily 10 point quiz which consisted of writing your name on a piece of paper and handing it in.

I think the way to get tickets is obvious? Stand in-line, constantly dialing ticketmaster on one cell phone and be constantly trying to get them on-line on your other phone which should be a blackberry or treo or other pda device. Problem solved, glad I could help.

Exactly.

That's not a penalty in the WCHA if one of the 6 is on goofy street. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pasfffw75GY count em up

As much as I disliked him, I am going to quote him. "I would rather have to tell my guys whoa, than giddyup."...Rocky Hager Some food for thought. Our opponents are averaging just over 20 pim this year compared to our 22 pim. Our game averages on some past teams 1982 15 1987 18 1997 16 2000 15 2006 23

From where I was and you can see some of it on the tape as well. Gwoz comes running over to where his guy is getting pummeled and pushes Brookwell from behind towards the fight and was pretty demonstrative at another DU player as well, as they were both just standing there watching their teammate getting hit with so many rights he was begging for a left. He was pi$$ed at his "team" for not backing up a teammate.

Does reg. season winning get boring?
petey23 replied to bison fan north of GF's topic in Women's Basketball
The Bison women have improved alot since last season when they would have been lucky to finish in the top 5 in the NCC, but I still don't think they are ready to match up with UND women yet. When NDSU went D1 I thought their women's team would make a pretty easy transition but they skidded right off the track. -
Was at Sioux boosters today and Coach Mussman said that they had a signed contract from Cal-Poly for a game this year and that the Great West commissioner voided the contract. UND is having a tough time finding quality opponents because no one wants to play us. Said that the AD at Western Illinois said that their is no way they will play us. Said conversations on the phone with potential opponents go along these lines "Are you the team that beat Minnesota or the one that beat Northern Iowa, either way we don't want to play you."

Lets get the spirit lake vote done and go from there. We have 3 years(8 before it effects our teams for playoffs), when is mr. his horse is thunder up for election?
-
I have heard from people with ties to the standing rock reservation that the vote would not be that close with only about 20-25% against the name. I think if the people on the spirit lake reservation vote in favor of retaining the name that pressure could be put on the standing rock reservation to do the same and let the people that they alledgedly represent decide. Remember we have 3 years so not a big rush. If Spirit lake votes against it, then it is time to pull the plug.

Sad thing is you could add up all the incidents he points out in his blog and triple them and they still don't add up to a sexual assault.

I'll go with Vandevelde

What would Miller's GAA have been in the WCHA? Fair question I think as we hung 6 on him if I remember correctly.

Amen!

You learn a little bit about yourself when you go through these kinds of things. According to Hak on the pregame show, Kozek was sick Friday and not feeling any better today and they felt if he was only able to go at 75% that they would stick someone else in there. To me if you win Friday, you should stick as close to the same lineup as possible, barring any injuries(illness) or very poor play.

Brian Lee is currently 24th in the AHL in scoring among defencemen and has the worst plus/minus of any defencemen for the Binghampton Senators so their might be a little bit of draft status playing into his selection.

Little Caesars North American Hockey Showcase 2008
petey23 replied to The Sicatoka's topic in Men's Hockey
Merrill played pretty tough out there tonight. He is younger, but he is a big kid 6-3, 180. On another note Ludwig is a bull out there even though he isn't real big 5-11, 170. A kid from Little Caesars had about a 5 stride run at him in open ice right after he snapped a shot from the point and Ludwig didn't even move and the kid that hit him was doubled over holding his shoulder as he slowly made his way back to the bench.
