  1. My lord, settle down haha.
  2. I'd be pretty surprised if he can get back to the States in time and then readjust to a massive time change in time to play meaningful hockey.
  3. Which answer did you think I was guessing? lol
  4. Are you pointing out that it's called the Frozen Faceoff or just continuing the trend of being a tremendous curmudgeon about this team? I'm pretty sure I know the answer
  5. Again, this does not matter. We already had enough recruits to cover the amount of fowards leaving due to graduation AND THEN we added depth. Then, we lost a player and then got that number back to where it was. Gersich's spot would have been planned for previously as he's a drafted and scholarship player. They would have recruited a player to replace him and not added a depth, non-scholly player at this point. This move IS NOT any indication that anyone is leaving. It's depth.
  6. Spot on, Mr. Oxbow. SnapFace the boys and tell them this is the plan, k? In all seriousness, UND showed this against Omaha. 5 on 5, we dominated. Wasn't close. Should be the same against Miami.
  7. We're one-stop shops!
  8. And would get us into the dance.
  9. Yeah, 10 years... like, you know, 6 years shorter the time that this thread has been buried. What are you trying to accomplish here?
  10. And I'll come and buy them from you when the team is 10-7-5 in January
  11. I just don't understand what I'm missing here... Ok, so we already established that we had enough forwards to cover losses to graduation, an even one more with depth in consideration, right? .... So, we lost another in Gornall. We got an additional player. Now, we have the number we had before.... Plus, a scholarship-type player like Gersich is replaced by a scholarship-level player, which is already done previously in the pipeline, not this late in the game.
  12. I'm assuming this is in the U.S., right? Taking a look at the medal count, I think this is an easy discussion. Not a lot of stars in our Winter Games for the U.S. to get behind.
  13. Precisely! This is why this signing has nothing to do with Shane.... he's a walk on and has nothing to do with schollies.
  14. Yeah, or we are adding another non-scholarship depth player. You could be right, but THIS move is not a reflection of anyone leaving. It's depth. Connect the dots all you want, this isn't anything more than a depth move with scholarship money making no difference.
  15. Haha exactly! Tychonik is a scholly player where you need to allocate funds across players. Huber isn't... we could add 40 walk-ons and it just doesn't matter.
  16. No. We had enough forwards coming in before adding today. Huber is for Gornall. I don't get why this isn't black and white. Huber is a depth add since we already had enough forwards coming in regardless of what Shane does. What is everyone missing?! Even Schlossman is reporting this. Again, Shane could go, but this isn't anything but adding a replacement (and a walk-on, for that matter) for a forward who we KNOW won't be here next year (Gornall).
  17. Lol we'll see. I definitely think Wooly is gone, but Gersich's stock may have dropped this year. Wouldn't surprise me if he stayed. I hope he does. He's an important player for us. Wouldn't blame him if he didn't, though.
  18. If we can keep Gersich and Wolanin, we're going to be a top 5 team.
  19. I don't understand how people don't see why this has nothing to do with Gersich. This is a move to replace Gornall. Gersich may go, but this addition has nothing to do with it.
  20. Where is this speculation coming from? We picked up an extra forward because Gornall left. Had he still been on the team, we likely don't. You said it perfectly... it's a depth move.
  21. He is coming next year and is an obvious replacement for Gornall. I really don't understand the problem with this lol.
  22. They dominated all weekend when even. Only reason we lost on Friday was our PK. Seems to be a simple formula, right now. Stay out of the box and we are pretty darn good defensively to control teams. Consistency, boys and girls. This team has the goods to be in the tourney and has shown then ability to play with and beat anyone.
  23. And he looked good on the PK, too. We need him big time in all facets.
  24. Puts things in perspective, a bit. So many programs would love to be where we are at today with our team battling for a tourney berth down the stretch at No. 12 in the PWR. We consider this a down year.
  25. Couple things I brought up to a couple buddies that I'd like to ask you guys and gals... Anyone else wanna guess who plays in net next week? Cam was brilliant tonight and earned a Friday start in Ohio, to me. Also, did Bubbs ease Jones in tonight? I noticed him on the PK, but I don't think he played any PP minutes. Felt like he was skating well.
