Tomek underperformed and was about to have his spot taken. I never said anything about his attitude. I have heard previously that he never had a great work ethic, but I won't criticize that because I don't know that for certain. I'm telling you JJ's situation is different. Like I said before, you can believe me or not. I really couldn't care less.

Locker room issue

I'm flat out telling you it's not an attitude issue. Up to you whether or not if you want to believe me. Play it up to a locker room issue, if you like. But, for this situation, it's just not the case.

Sorry man. I responded before I saw the context there. I thought you were talking about JJ having a bad attitude. JJ's situation is 100% different than these two and it's in no way a locker room issue nor the fault of anyone, including Bubbs.

Or the player played poorly and was going to have two highly-touted players in front of him. You can call it a locker room issue, but that seems like a weak call.

I can see where you're coming from with this, but it's a stretch. Came in injured, sat behind Cam. Nuff said there, IMO. Next season, he sat behind Cam and had a legit shot to find the ice. Played poorly in his starts while Cam continued to take the net. Could have stayed last year, but again he was a No. 2 behind Cam and Thome was also drafted. So he left. And has again played poorly for UNO. Seems like it's on him. JJ's situation is so far and away different than Tomek's.

It's a pretty educated guess when the list is Gornall, Huber, Chartrand, Tomek, Wilkie and Mattson.

I, too, want to hear more about the bigger picture from his angle.

Certainly a fair point. Hoff baffles me. Bowen and Yon were never going to be top 6, IMO.

Senden blew me away this year. So impressed. Knew the kid would work hard, but man, he's been great. Keane wouldn't be playing top 6 if JJ and Mash were healthy.

Lol Mitchell Mattson. Dig into that kid a little bit more. Let me know what you found. Huber... Do you know why he didn't come to UND? I do. It's not because he didn't want to play for Bubbs. Tomek is a wonderful back up. He'd probably be our back up this season. You've just indentified one recruit and a handful of fringe college hockey players (some not even playing college hockey anymore) as an argument to suggest Bubbs is the overall problem. Well done.

Still waiting for the other recruit or recruits you're referring to, however.
