As much as losing Pooly doesn't help, I am confident in our d-corps. Losing Scheel would be, by far, much worse, IMO. I'd argue we could lose Pooly before even Jones, at this point. It's certainly not a good thing in the least bit to have Pooly out this weekend, but we are a solid d-corps.

What makes you think this? We've only had a couple that I can remember over the years. Who are you thinking could bolt?

I don't think anyone around here is under the delusion that we are better than SCSU or UMD at this point, but we've seen this team perform at a high level many times this season and particularly against some good to really good opponents. With that said, of course, there'e been a lot of bad. I've seen a team that can beat anyone on any given night and vice versa. I believe, with us having to win games down the stretch, we can and do absolutely muster splits against SCSU and Duluth.

As an analytics guy (), I also don't think it's crazy to think we can get an extra bounce or two a game to get some wins.

Nothing changed. So, I too, was wondering why it's so crazy for us to be able to split with Duluth, in Grand Forks since we already did so in Duluth.

If we sweep the next four after the 5-3 run, I'd say yes.

And we wonder why the team/coaches comment about us hahahaha.
