I absolutely see the cause for concern. It's the START of a trend that, if continued, would be concerning.

We missed the tourney by one game last year. One less tie. And this year is not over. All those things aren't great and I'm not ignoring them, but moving a coach based on this is absolutely irrational. Our problem the 1 and 3/4 seasons is scoring. We are bringing in 4 heralded recruits and our pipeline is incredibly highly touted. Bailing on a coach puts that pipeline at risk. So, to fix our problem of scoring, we need those players, but you want to fire the coach. Got it. The shortsightedness is within our fan base is incredible.

No, no. Just a guess based on the recent commit. You said it yourself, his numbers are down. Seems logical to me that UND would ask him to wait a year if they thought he needed a year of development. We already have a solid class coming in.

That's why I say that, yes. I'd prefer he not light us up. I think it's pretty simple.... UND thinks he was best suited to wait a year and he thought differently. We'll see.

I don't think anything you said is hugely rippable. I'm fine with Bowen's role. Yon and Johnson shouldn't feel secure. Rieger's road isn't going to get any easier, either.

Maybe Senden is just better? What's wrong with that? Bowen, to me, is fitting his role just fine. Energy player, great PKer. Yon is too inconsistent.

I agree with you about Hoff. Senden has earned his time as a No. 3 center over Bowen, so that is what it is. Keane took Yonner's spot, too, IMO.

I guess I'd like to hear your expectations for all those players. I'd say a lot of them are performing to the expectations I thought they'd reach. None of these forwards were slotted as huge scorers, coming in. Hoff has under-performed, IMO.
