  1. I think he would have had a chance to contribute for sure, but it's not a bad thing for him to have one more year of development if the staff didn't think he was truly ready, IMO.
  2. Yeah, he didn't have a great year last year, so it's not a bad thing at all for him to get 100% healthy and get some more seasoning.
  3. Well that doesn't suck
  4. Yeah, I've heard he's not coming. Pretty much certain. Schlossman has noted this a couple times in some of stuff this offseason.
  5. He's 15 hahaha.
  6. Gotcha. Yeah, I see that now. Good stuff.
  7. Jason Blake's son Jackson committed. Anyone know anything about him? Good to see the Shattuck pipeline is still open.
  8. Rizzo is not likely to come in this fall.
  9. Good stuff from Michaud. Sign me up for another Hexy, please: https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/hockey/4602325-westin-michaud-may-bring-brett-hextall-elements-unds-game
  10. Yup. This is it, I believe.
  11. All the tit for tat in here and this is the only true way to bring the fun back.
  12. I think we'll see a little UND action here in the next couple of weeks, but very few will be disappointed by the movement(s).
  13. I'd be willing to bet we go alumni. Maybe Goehring?
  14. That, or that he thinks the PP isn't good. I'll take the latter
  15. His dad has said many times that they wanted to go HE from the get go.
  16. Is Donovan going to be a scholarship player?
  17. @Irish This is literally it. We haven't gotten a couple of scorers that we've recruited.
  18. Nope, they have to contribute right away for them to be successful. We can't wait. We mustn't wait
  19. Missing on getting recruits the last couple of years, IMO. It happens. That's not according to plan, so I'm not sure why you'd think I said or think that. Pipeline overall, especially forward wise seems better based on rankings and stats in the next couple of classes. I'm overall happy with our player development, in general. Fine if you don't share that opinion. Our systems haven't changed much since I've watched UND hockey and with the increase in talent incoming (again, not my opinion but by rankings and stats), I'm going to stay optimistic.
  20. 3 should work.
  21. Oh, so Bubbs only knows how to develop D-men. Got it lol. So, can we establish the high enders, in your eyes when they came in? Guchi, Adams, Hoff, Mash, right? If that's the case, I'd say there are three juniors on there, one who's been injured, one who took a big jump from the beginning of his freshman year and another who's not developed much. Hoff has been a miss. Any other ones? If so, this whole thing again seems overstated.
  22. He left on his own volition, though. UND told him what best suited the team. The kid disagreed, so they went their separate ways. Donovan didn't feel like a recruit UND should break its back to keep at all costs.
  23. Yes, I'm serious. You're making it sound like it's nuts to not think we have a development problem. Adams is another. Sad that I forgot him because it helps show what you're saying. So, Hoff and Adams. Feels overstated. But it's fine. They're only about to start their junior year. Development isn't done. Hoff feels like a miss and Adams has underperformed. How about a guy like Kierstad? Senden? You ignored my comment about Guchi and Scheel. Goes both ways, it seems.
