  1. I definitely think you're right about taking the next step. I am concerned of our lack of centers, though. I think Michaud would step in to the No. 1 center simply because I don't want Senden to break from Smith/Hain. I don't think Weatherby is ready for a No. 1 center spot. Plus, Michaud is a really good player.
  2. He'd be our top line center. Without a doubt.
  3. I just can't cheer for my rivals. I get the sentiment, but we don't need more help in regards to being the best conference in college hockey. I'd rather Clown just lose lol.
  4. NCHC started play in 2013-14. Sorry, I had to be that guy. We didn't win a title the first two years in existence and we've won the next three!
  5. I've got them at No. 16 and it's not close haha.
  6. Agreed.
  7. Not a fan of their fanbase, but I just care very little about the team. They've done nothing of value, to me.
  8. Or Denver.
  9. Anyone but Denver, IMO. Duluth has two. Meh haha.
  10. I actually picked Quinnipiac over UMass in the bracket. Not sure why, just a hunch? haha
  11. I'm all in on AIC. When I saw Mankato at UND, I thought they were the best team in the country. Them and Clown are a toss up, for me. Definitely cheering for Mankato.
  12. Definitely not what I'm saying.
  13. Thanks for clarifying that!
  14. Berry and Hak worked together to recruit. Sure, we can put the onus on the HC, but they both had a hand. So, we can put Jost on both Bubbs and Hak, but we can also put Hoff on both, as well, IMO. If I'm not mistaken, the first true "Bubbs class" is the Kawaguchi, Mismash, Adams class. So, it's all Bubbs (and crew) from here on out.
  15. I think a big part of it was wanting to play for Blaiser.
  16. So, are you hoping for him to come out and tell you/us out of this? That just isn't going to happen.
  17. Our defense and goaltending are setting us up for a big year. Steps by Guchi, Mismash, Adams and maybe one or two others, coupled with good freshmen scoring, we absolutely have the tools to make a really big jump. 3.5 GPG will make us very, very hard to beat. Very hopeful.
  18. Love it. D and goaltending certainly shouldn't be a problem next season.
  19. Well, that was fun lol.
  20. Hahaha good to know. I just have a hard time believing that perception would change that quickly. Recruits, advisers and parents aren't typically as invested in the day-to-day work of a program like we are.
  21. Sorry, man. Hopefully that didn't come off as me attacking you, I just don't understand it, really. I personally don't think NHL scouts, recruits, parents of recruits, advisors, etc. would make a these conclusions, at this points. Decades of success, an NHL rink and decades of putting players in to the NHL don't go away from two or three average years. Can a trend be seen? Sure and it has to stop at some point for us to keep our clout, but this short of a time span seems really hasty to be making that conclusion, if they are.
  22. I know, I know, it was a silly cheap shot. I'll be honest... he's done well for himself, it seems. Sounds like there was more to it than Bubbs, but it is what it is. I hope the same for Adams and I don't think he's going anywhere.
  23. We've built up a long reputation of developing players. It's certainly more than two years.
