Top 10 Moments in Sioux History since 2000
InHeavenThereIsNoBeer replied to fight on sioux's topic in Men's Hockey
Darcy Zajac's OT goal vs. CC to clinch the MacNaughton I believe? May not be top 10 but it's up there. White out weekend at The Ralph sweep the rodents 6-1, 6-3... 2008 or 2009? -
Top 10 Moments in Sioux History since 2000

It was the 2006 Regional and they beat Michigan and Holy Cross, not Niagara. -
Miami is losing a ton of firepower from last year.

Buccigross represents college hockey(unfortunately) so the way he presents himself/announces is the face of college hockey as a whole. If I've never watched a college hockey game in my life and turn Buccigross I'm not going to continue to watch because he literally hurts my ears to listen to. Also, his and Melrose's knowledge is limited on players names, background etc. so it makes it look as though they don't put a whole lot of priority/effort into calling these games. It almost feels like it's an afterthought to them. I will give Buccigross the slight edge over Melrose bc he knows enough to be dangerous but he does not call play-by-play for a living so getting his feet wet a few times a year doesn't qualify him to call the biggest games of the year. That's not acceptable to me as a person who wants to see college hockey grow as opposed to the alternative. Then of course you have his "Bucci-isms" like saucy paws, thin mints, mayor of dangle city etc. but that's a story for another post. I understand he's trying but he's better served on twitter. But Buccigross is what people hear when they turn ESPN on for the most widely shown game in the college hockey year. Just stating opinion, you're not required to agree with it so telling people they have to "calm down" isn't a solution to me. I'll quit derailing this Early Departures thread as this has absolutely nothing to do with it, so this will be last post on this topic here.

We'd have the best incoming freshman class by far in the NCAAs. Is Matthews a for sure 1 and done player? From what it sounds like he is but I'd take him =)

You never answered my question. If you're asking my preference I choose talking about nothing rather than this but I'm wondering about you guys. Where in my post did I say or infer that it offended me? I just asked if you enjoy it. Not being facetious, I'm seriously wondering if you do. -
Ok scpa, but just because you said so

Serious question: Do you guys actually enjoy discussing this endlessly? I understand some conversation on it but some of you guys only show up when the conversation of Hak's deficiencies pop up and go on to debate back and forth ad nauseum. Is it enjoyable to you? -
But with a finishing touch, which should compliment Nick Schmaltz really well.

I don't mind talking about Eichel a lot, but it's the absolute raging hard-on for Eichel when he does nothing. Buccigross literally yelled when Eichel got passed the puck the 1st time "EICHEL WITH SPACE!"... there were 3 UND players surrounding him. Buccigross is fine for promoting the game but I don't want my cheerleaders announcing, it cheapens the sport. Excitement is one thing, but when Buccigross freaks out everytime a player shoots the puck from literally anywhere on the ice it gets old. I'd rather have nothing than Buccigross, which is why I had to mute the game at times.

Are you listening to the same guy? I mean I'm 28 so not super far away from college(although now that I think about it I kind of am) but BUccigross(see what I did there) had a mega Eichel-boner in the semifinals and was outwardly ecstatic when BU clinched the game with the ENG.

I'm interested to see who actually wants Hakstol fire or if they're all just blowing smoke. -

And THAT is your issue? That you think some fans blindly support Hakstol? Not that you want him fired? If this is what your problem actually is, get a freakin hobby. -

Your issue is that UND fans are too passive... seriously?! -

NEWS FLASH: Every single freakin fan wants him to get one! I damn near wanted to break my 65" TV out of frustration at the game last night. Now once again, Who would like to see Hakstol canned before the start of next season? Please identify yourselves. -

That's my point, why does it matter what the fanbase is settling for? -

So you think UND's coaches, players and staff that put their asses on the line every day settle for being there? Have they ever struck you as a team that has the "happy to be here" attitude at the Frozen Four? It's asinine that because some fans enjoy consistently having a shot in the last weekend of the year equates to the team settling for anything. Go tell MacMillan he settled for only getting to the Frozen Four and not skating, go tell Hak he settled by only winning a league championship and losing in the Frozen Four, and tell Pattyn he settled in his career as a Sioux player when he's shaking hands with his left arm because he can't lift the right one. Report back to us on their reply when you tell them they "settled". -
Golf, lots and lots of golf... season should wrap up around October 1st

GDT: Sioux vs puppies who pee on the porch

I'm curious on this as well. Does Keaton or Panzarella play? I would think Keaton if I had to guess. -
This ^ Apparently there's a quota for positive votes you can give for a day. This is the first time that ever happened to me

Apparently some fans in Fargo had their flight delayed and then cancelled due to bad weather in Chicago. Now their new flight is scheduled to arrive in Boston at 5PM and that's IF it is on time. I feel for those people, that's terrible luck.
