Hoff out, Olson in, Peski in. Most surprising thing to me is no Kiersted . Thought he has looked good every time he has been in and would put him in over Rieger.

The Iowa loss was really bad but Ohio State did have 2 top 10 wins as well as a win over #18 compared to Alabama only having 1 top 20 win. Watching them Alabama is probably better but Ohio State definitely had a better resume. USC is probably playing better than both of them right now and deserved a little more consideration than they got as well. Alabama didn't really play anyone aside from Auburn and I think Clemson will take care of them but Saban will have plenty of ammunition to get his team locked in for this game.

Who knows maybe Jones is feeling good enough to play. Thought somebody said he was out with the flu tonight.

Sloppy game but way to grind out a win. Western Michigan is a physical team but not a lot of skill instead have to rely on clutching and grabbing and tons of embellishment from their players. Murray is constantly whining about everything and is pretty much always wrong. I remember Murray talking when he first got to Western about how his teams will always play the right way but they are pretty much the exact opposite of that now. Definitely the worst team in the country when it comes to embellishment and it isn't even close. Can't believe the refs gave Gardner a penalty at the end it wasn't even a good sell job from Dipietro. I was happy Bast went and let him hear it as soon as he it the ice. Finish the job tomorrow and get the sweep and clean a few of these Western Michigan punks clocks while we are at it.

Don't believe Berry has been following Randklev on Twitter. Randklev and UND Hockey Tradition which is a coaches account follow each other.

Just not a good weekend of hockey. Gotta put it behind quick and get back to playing Sioux hockey and hopefully getting a little more healthy while we are at it.

This is a bad loss and there really isn't any other way to put it. When you don't show up for the first 20 minutes, get outworked for 60 minutes, make weak plays and bad decisions, step slow on everything, and your goaltender can't come up with a save when you need it this is the result you get.

Trying to fix a lot of spots that were left a mess. QB, OL, WR and DB being the big ones and combine that with some injuries to key guys has made it a worse year than I expected. Has a pretty good class recruited and didn't play many true freshmen this year even though some definitely would be an upgrade over the current player. It is the same philosophy he used at Western Michigan with the redshirting basically his entire first class and then a lot of true and redshirt freshmen will play next year. I think they will show a lot of progress next year and should at least get to a bowl game. The 2019 class is where he really needs to make his money and win the battles with one of the top OL in the country at Edina and another 4 start OL at Lakeville North and add to that looking like they are in a pretty good spot for one of the top 10 QBs in the country.

Really didn't think the Sioux played too bad. Disappointed with the result because I think tonight is a Sioux win if the refs aren't wearing DU jerseys. Shepherd is a classless pos and hopefully when we have to have him again a few clearing attempts find his midsection. The major call was maybe the most ridiculous, yes it was a minor interference penalty but that is it. You can't just decide to call something a major because someone ends up injured. The disallowed goal was terrible, the puck was pretty much in the net when the minimal contact was made but you knew the call was coming with Shepherd having a opportunity to call something against UND again. Denver was allowed to hook and hold all night meanwhile any physical contact from a Sioux player was called a penalty. Just a ridiculous excuse for officiating tonight.

Nice job to grind out a win after a terrible start. Seemed like the guys came out lacking aggressiveness and really just kinda of passive which made it easy for Denver right away. Got much better throughout the game but still some times where we need to be a little more patient with the puck instead of blindly firing it anywhere. A lot of people talk about the talent Denver has and they do up front but their defensemen and goaltending would be concerning to me if I were them. Best way to neutralize those forwards is to make them play defense so need more of the same tomorrow with getting pucks in and maybe a little more aggressive forecheck. Love that are goalies stand up for themselves and if refs are gonna let players hack away our goalies make them pay. Montgomery is one of the biggest babies in the coaching world.

Yes, he played 7 games with Fargo this fall and may play with them again after the high school season.

I'd be surprised if Hain isn't here next fall as well.
-
Former Holy Family and current Waterloo goaltender Jarred Moe committed to Minnesota. Know the coaching staff was following him pretty closely.
-
I would think they will all be here next year. I think Hain is very much a early impact player similar to Mismash. Mattson has great size and skill and you see flashes of him putting it all together but just hasn't done it consistently yet. Keane I really don't know much about. Senden does a lot of things that don't show up on the stat sheet, great leader Simonson type player.

Noticed on Twitter about a couple weeks ago that a couple UND hockey accounts and the SCSU hockey account had started following Randklev and he followed them back. Figured he was at least looking around then.

Someone on Twitter has posted his Instagram of him signing with DU.

Wasn't always the best played but 5 out of 6 points is a solid weekend. Thought the Simonson play should have been called a goal. I know they said he had it covered but I disagree. Yeah it was under his pad but it still seemed to be moving a bit and he was still sliding back into his net it didn't look like much if any contact from any of the Sioux players with his pad. Miami's tying goal was a bad break to start the play. Would have been a clean faceoff win back to the corner but hit the linesman's skate and right to a Miami guy. Now for a good few days of practice to get ready for the tough challenge at Denver.

Schloss has Anchorage at home listed on his blog as well. He doesn't mention Mankato or Canisius though.

Good road win. Thome was very shaky at times but did make a couple big saves too. I thought defensively the guys did a good job of limiting Wisconsin's chances. I know on tv they had them for 36 shots which I'm not sure was accurate but even if it was there weren't a whole lot that were high quality. Refs let a lot of stuff go Wisco runs a lot of interference and holding.

Sounds like Teddy has looked very good in practices. I know it will take him some time to get back to game speed but if he is completely healthy which it seems he is he is a better option than Keenum. Keenum is a solid backup QB but that is all he is. He is very inconsistent not just from game to game but drive to drive and even at times throw to throw. They put Teddy on the pup to give him time to make sure he was healthy even though there were some reports that said he was healthy enough and could have started the season on the active roster. I'm sure a whole lot of people didn't expect Teddy to be back this quickly but it just shows the type of person Teddy is and his incredible work ethic.

Usually only games actually on BTN are on BTN2GO and if you have BTN with your cable provider you get BTN2GO for free. Other games are usually on BTN+ which you have to pay for. The games show up on my TV guide as being on the Fox College Sports. Think it showed as Atlantic for Friday and Pacific on Saturday.
