Because you can read a box score? And the Nebraska football players disagree very much with your personal assessment of Pelini and him being fired.
  2. How many games have you watched this year?
  3. Either 406 or 409 I think?
  4. No clue, was only listening to the radio as the game wasn't on TV. UND had their 10th team foul less than 11 minutes into the second half.
  5. Not much choice but to play less aggressively when you're in foul trouble like that. Everyone would have been fouled out at the pace they were going. Nash ended the game with 4 and Coleman, De Rouen, Tyler and Hobaugh all had 3 on top of Hooker being out of the game with an injury. That's 3 starters plus the first guy off the bench in foul trouble and another starter out with an injury. It's not a huge surprise that a quality team made a run against that kind of situation. On a positive note, Nash went 6-7 from the line and the team shot 10-11 (91% the first half). Also have 14 assists on 25 made baskets. On a sour note, they went 6-11 (55%) the second half to finish the game at 73%.
  6. Let them back in but the boys closed it out. Neutral court but nice to see a good win not at home against a quality team. Tough game Friday, guessing Hooker won't be available which no good.
  7. Game is at 9:30 tonight. Doesn't appear to be any video I can see but will be on 100.3FM. Friday's game against Utah appears to be the only one of the three that will be televised (Pac-12 Network for those who may get it).
  8. My first thought as well. The staff was obviously protecting Studsrud due to an incredibly thin bench at QB. He was asked to be a game manager, not game changer, and while he did a pretty good job of it, I'm not sure that does anything more than put him in the conversation to be the starting QB next year, same as Mollberg and Bartels.
  9. On Columbia in front of the mall. Across from BWW about a block north in the new strip mall being put up.

He was also almost 60 after his 6 years in Wyoming. He had more or less retired until USD begged him to come out of retirement. Here's some numbers to chew on: Since 2004, there has been exactly 3 coaches that have went from FCS or lower to a P5 school: Mike London (Virginia from Richmond) - was a former player Paul Wulff (Washington State from EWU) - was a former player Jim Harbaugh (Stanford from San Diego) There's also been 15 other hires by FBS schools that have where the coach was from the FCS or lower (including Bohl) in that time frame. Here's the list: North Texas, Rice, UAB, Army(x2), New Mexico State, Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, NIU, San Jose State, UNLV, Wyoming and Georgia State. Not exactly any dream destinations and two of the three that actually went into the P5 were former players with the third being Jim Harbaugh (who has pretty decent bloodlines and his dad was at one point the DC at Stanford).

Despite what the rubes from the south kept trying to convince themselves, it was going to be nearly impossible to get a legitimate P5 job jumping from FCS. Big time boosters have egos that get in the way. Wyoming is a stepping stone even if its only for 2-3 years.
  12. I think its probably a cross between people already donating money and it not being a specific item (at this point). I also get that its hard to figure out what specifically to give to when you don't have a general idea on how much you will have to work with/offer.
  13. Weren't there some FU trolls explaining to us in the "7-5 Hypothetical" thread how no team with 5 losses should ever be considered for the playoffs? Thinking Bethune was the one that has a complaint against Indiana State. 1-1 against FBS (beat FIU, lost to UCF), lost to MEAC champs (South Carolina St) and had then had a bad loss to Hampton their second to last game. Also had a win against Grambling who won the SWAC. Indiana St went 1-1 against FBS (beat Ball State, lost to Indiana), took 5th in their conference and lost 2 of the last 3, including their last game against WIU. They did beat Liberty and UNI which are quality wins. Would have been a pretty easy choice had they not choked this weekend, instead they left it open for debate. Idaho St. is a tough call, 0-2 vs FBS and 2-0 vs non-D1. Their 6-2 conference record was all they had to stand behind and they went 0-2 vs MSU/EWU (though both very close games) and didn't play UM.
  14. Iheartradio. 96.1 for Jack Michaels
  15. Pretty decent feed, wish they had the radio guys instead of the PA announcer. UND looking good so far.
  16. Bubba gets his first road win and ends the year on a high note. 23-10 UND
  17. Anyone, anywhere, any time!* *Some exclusions may apply.
  18. Wonder if ESPN is testing the waters with the Big Sky, looking for a group of schools to help fill future programming as the P5 all continue start up their own networks? I could have swore I read somewhere on the internet that if ESPN does something two years in a row, that is most definitely the reason for it.
  19. It will be a great showcase for Montana. The atmosphere at WaGrizz is second to none with the crowd and view.
  20. Meh. Our club team already beats them regularly.
  21. Is Dan Snyder the owner in this hypothetical?
  22. Completely agree but for people outside of academia to think all of the sudden this process (or attempts to come up with a process) as it currently sits is moving to fast is dumbfounding.
