Yes, we have an embarrassment of riches at running back when they're all healthy. It seems like Skokna has had some nice gains to the outside, also. Again, as you say, maybe he has more speed than Otis?

It seems like we have good success, maybe better success running the ball to the outside. For instance, Ziebarth was getting 5-15 yards to the outside on virtually every carry on Saturday. I'm wondering why we don't do it more often. Just depends on how the D is lined up?

You know what they say about Connecticut, don't you? It's not a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there either.

No excuses, but the injuries are starting to pile up and they haven't helped: top receiver out the last two games, top running back (arguable) out the last game, starting nose guard out most of the last two games, field goal kicker out the last two games, sr. starting outside linebacker out since the first game, and backup outside linebacker out the last two games. Next man up, I know, I know, but we've been down quite a few key players the last couple games or more during the meat of our schedule. If we can win the next two, it'll give us some momentum and I think that we can make a run.

Not an expert on the pairwise, so I'm wondering how we can win to go 3-0 and drop from 28 (I think) to 40 in the pairwise.

Big improvement there and erratic improvement in our kickoffs. Special teams in general have been very good, IMO.

Can't underestimate the importance of stopping ISU four consecutive times when they had a first and goal from the one, and the game was still up for grabs. Unbelievable. There were other factors that were important, but I think that this defensive sequence was the key to the W.
