Lucia should spend less time babying Casey and more time figuring out his team’s disastrous special teams... that should keep him plenty busy. Then again: I’m okay if they want to stay where they are at on those. Ha.

Lucia even said Casey wanted to play. So we can read into that and make our own conclusions. If he was okay to finish Friday’s game, was it really that bad in the first place?

The dipsh*t Ryan Lindgren was literally quoted at their media availability prior to the games as saying it’s his job to start sh*t like that (I’m paraphrasing) and this Vegoe dude has the audacity to whine about OUR after the whistle stuff? That’s rich lol.

I’m immune to being embarrassed by it because I’m so used to it. I’ve heard many a “F*ck the Sioux” chants at Mariucci among others, so these chants are everywhere - it’s not exclusive to REA anyways.

Could someone explain what hits on Friday “should have been majors” according to these whiners blaming the refs for losing last night?

I tried to tell everyone their power play was worse than ours and no one believed me, so you’re not alone in that thinking haha. The thing is that the Gophers, as long as I can remember, lived and died by the power play. I feel like they might be in a heap of trouble if they don’t figure it out. As for That checking from behind ... in real time I thought it was a 5, but on replay it didn’t look as bad as initially thought.

I can see both arguments. But to me, it’s pretty telling that Bast was supposed to come last year. If healthy, he’s probably ahead of the other 2 freshmen. (Who have been pretty good also) Plus, we probably could use him on the power play EDIT: Schlossman just tweeted that he’s available to play this weekend.

Someone asked Schlossman about that last weekend and he seemed to think if he's healthy, Bast will be in the lineup.

He was also initially supposed to be here last season. Injuries kept him in juniors.
