Yeah don’t see SCSU in top 3, maybe not even top 5 with their losses. We’ll see how they adjust to their losses. Western lost both their starting and backup goalies. And aside from that, I am not drinking their koolaid. They never do anything of note even when they’re supposed to be good. I got UND ahead of both.

I wouldn’t say he had a bad year, just below expectations. Injuries not helping. My interpretation of this situation is that it’s expected he immediately fit into a top 6 role when he arrives and maybe the coaching staff feels he’ll be better equipped to do that with another year of juniors. JMO.

Signing the NLI has nothing to do with arrival. You’re eligible to sign it your senior year of high school. Many have signed it and not arrived the following year.

Went back to rewatch some older games from the past season to refresh my memory on what kind of player he is and he is exactly what this team needs.

It seems to me the NCAA opted overwhelmingly for newer venues (Buffalo, Detroit, Pittsburgh) for the Frozen Four sites the last round instead of destination cities. Hopefully when the next round of host cities are announced we’ll have more of a mix, preferably with them not all in the Eastern time zone.

I realize you weren’t asking me, but I’ve seen him play 10 playoff games. He’s an intriguing player. His on ice vision is insane.

Well the incoming class has at least one player who fits that description.

The leading scorer on Wenatchee had 51 points so the coach clearly overestimated the offensive capabilities of his team. Also, to be fair, Stratton had 62 points if we are including playoffs, since he was very good during their playoff run. The stats above aren’t factoring those in for the BCHL.

That was me. They hadn’t decided yet on Rizzo when I posted that. I was speculating they were waiting on Michaud’s decision.

Blaisdell committed early because of the WHL draft. He knew he wasn’t going that route so he committed before so the team’s knew his plans. The WHL draft probably has a something to do with some of the early recruiting we see. (Personally, I find it amusing when I see some WHL fan complain about college early recruiting when they have a Bantam Draft.)

It’s a combination of political science, International Relations and economics. CC doesn’t have business majors unless you count economics, so it’s likely pretty similar to UND’s Public Administration major, which is a combination of political science and business management.

I had heard Guch was playing with an injury most of the season, so hopefully he can get healthy in the offseason and be at full strength next season.

I really hope people are not basing anything off post game comments, interviews, radio show appearances, because that’s ridiculous. No one knows what goes on in that locker room when no one is around, in the off season when no one is around, etc. We only see what they choose to show us. Yeah Berry is a master of Coach Speak.
