I think it is actually Tomek that wouldn’t have been here if Driscoll came as a freshman that year. Since Matt was already here for a while at that point.

As a cord-cutting streamer, Regional networks in our area can go to hell for all I care.

Driscoll wanted to play a year of juniors before college so he decided to go to SCSU instead but if he had decided differently he would have been on our national championship team. Kind of funny to think about.

So sad to hear this news. I knew him outside of message boards from college, so when someone tweeted about it I thought it was a cruel joke. But then I went to Facebook and saw some other friends posts. Just sad to hear. Gone too soon.

When I saw that tweet, I was like “that can’t be the entire quote.” Bad reporting if so. This is a long time college hockey coach. He coached Princeton when we played them in regionals in 2008. I just can’t fathom someone being dumb enough to say something like that about your opponent without there being more to it.

They earned 1 point more than us in the USCHO poll so seems it could’ve gone either way. Some teams are just judged differently in these polls. Probably a perception thing.
