Berry has said he prefers to have their recruits over transfers so I can’t imagine we go that route where there’s a heavy emphasis on transfers unless there’s another major turnover year. A lot of our recruits are around the same age/scheduled to come in around the same time so I imagine we are looking further down the road right now aside from the obvious need for a couple productive forwards for next year’s class.

I get it but dropping after not losing any games is a bit much. I don’t know that I have really seen this very much. How many other teams are being dropped for similar results? Also UMD is really still ranked?

I’d rather hear from the actual victim instead of his mom all the time. I also don’t think they even want an apology because it doesn’t sound like it would be accepted anyway. It sounds like from what I have heard that there are a lot of issues between these 2 families, beyond just this incident. They should try to work things out privately, but doubt that’ll ever happen at this point.

They also have been doing this (at least for the audio feed) for streaming USHL and AHL games for many years, so it’d be nice if we could at least pick which announcers we get.

Taking out the five injured skaters as options still leaves us with 4 forward lines, and 7 D. At least by my count. So we’ll have an extra skater, but it’ll be at D. Schlossman’s article made it sound like we wouldn’t have an extra skater but I think he meant extra forward.

I think Portz has been good when he’s been in the lineup this season, but I’m not sure who you would play him over. The 4th line is the most volatile spot to be this year, there’s a lot of guys we could have there.

I always found Judd to be the guy we had play top 6 because there weren’t other good options. Serviceable but not consistent enough to be there if there are better options. I know he pretty much starts every season rather slow so I’m almost expecting some big games from him in November/December. But so far this season I’m just not sure where to put him.

I know people here are not big Caulfield fans right now but I don’t see him being scratched.

I guess I don’t think Duluth has been super unusual considering their roster turnover. Figured they’d be better in the second half, but they can’t be digging themselves too big of a hole or there will be problems trying to climb out of it.

ASU is notoriously undisciplined. They average 17 PIMS per game, which is close to double their opponents average. Hope our power play can stay clicking.

Of the current top scorers in the USHL that are age eligible for college hockey, Nick Moldenhauer (already discussed previously- UND not on his schools list) and Ryan St Louis are the top uncommitted scorers.

They originally planned for Croal to play 2 years at Muskegon, but based on how things look now, you’d probably need to bring him in. I’m personally hoping we can pick up an uncommitted forward or two from the USHL so Slipec and Panzer can play another year.

Minnesota’s goalie Justen Close is 24 years old. From Saskatchewan. So looks like UND is not the only ones with the older Canadians. They seem to forget about this. Clearly they have decided UND is right and they need to follow our lead.

He did say though he was wrong on what they were going to do with Kleven’s penalty so maybe he’s not to be taken seriously Also lol at myself because I didn’t see the Cooley facemask- I thought it was Knies who grabbed the facemask.
