Disagree that our schedule is soft this half. I think that's selling a lot of the teams we play short. It's not the consecutive ranked opponents stretch like earlier, but it's far from soft.

OMG yes. Listening to him during the WJC's made me think ... "gee.. should anyone else show up in the NCAAs when we should just give yale the title now?" I got sick of it too.
-
Bishop left in the middle of the season I believe. I believe it was during a time we were really injured and during the world juniors, where we had a couple guys playing so it made things difficult.

I would get there right as doors open. I know when I was a student I always was one of the first 10 people in the line to get into the game and I only once got into the front row of the upper bowl due to line budgers, saving seats, etc. So I would get there when the doors open if you want in the lower rows of the upper deck. I got general admission tickets to the UNO game as well, and I know we're going to go a little before doors open to get in line and see what we can get.

the question was about mid-season though... the last one I believe would be Anthony Grieco. Though... the reasons he left are up for debate, but we don't need to go into that.

It's unfortunate my old computer went to hell. The calendar would have looked nice. haha. I actually have a mac now since that was the spare computer in my family, so the dimensions won't work as well. But all is good, because I still got good ol Corban on my background representing for the month of January. Looks nice.

his brother goes to Boston College.

If he didn't de-commit when he was pushed back to the USHL this year, I highly doubt he's going to de-commit now. Plus, he probably knows with our lack of D recruits his playing time next year is looking pretty good.

Man, I wish I wasn't sick so I could go watch.

I, personally, wouldn't want my health issues out there in the public eye to be scrutinized by everyone...
-
I would be shocked.

They are brothers. And FYI... St. Thomas is not actually a city. He just attends St Thomas Academy. The Schroeders live in Prior Lake.

Question about a store in Minn.
siouxforce19 replied to JESUS,family, rutgers's topic in Men's Hockey
I shop at Franchise Sports all the time. Mostly at the Eden Prairie location. It's nice. They have a lot of Sioux and other college apparel, as well as your typical pro sports apparel and things, and don't just limit it to Minnesota sports like a lot of other stores, though a majority of it is Minnesota sports. I know in the Twin Cities, aside from The College Shop at the Mall of America, it's the best bet for Sioux stuff. -
I'm having a heart attack. Clearly, I'm being dramatic. This would happen the day i get my jersey in the mail.

I think that's beginning to be a given lol.

I actually agree with this. I'm surprising myself here. He's a good player. No question. But...He's not coming here... he's CLEARLY a big Gopher fan and already told people he's going to the U. . If Lucia gets canned, he'll go to Notre Dame or something. Bank it. Off topic, but did anyone else see that Q & A video with Nick Bjugstad and they asked him why he decided to play for the Gophers and he said something like "every kid who lives in Minnesota wants to be a Gopher....well, except for Forbort and those guys..." I laughed. We need to find more of "those guys" haha. Anyways, carry on...
-
He's already narrowed down his choices to UM, UND, and Notre Dame, so I would be legitimately shocked to see him at SCSU.
-
I can see the argument for both. I voted for Matt personally. With 17 goals, pretty much double the amount of anyone else on our team... his scoring has been critical. Yeah, it is also REALLY important for Dell to come in and play like he has, but without Matt's goals, we wouldn't be winning like we have been. We might have a lot of ties. Like BU. lol. But like I said, I can see the argument for either. Both have been extremely important to the success of our team so far.
-
Well, at least I'll get to see Rocco play when the U-18s play the Gophers on the 7th. I live too close to not go see that.

*lalalala* time to stop overanalyzing an exhibition game *lalala* They practice 2 days, had finals, and wanted to go home. I don't think I would have cared if they lost. They worked hard all semester with a tough schedule and deserve some time off so it's not fair to compare our win to the Fargo Force win over the same team.

Malone.

Well, it'll be good for the U.S. team to be able to fill 4 lines since they only were able to have 3 last night. So from their perspective, there's a positive.
-
Don't disagree with you on that... but... If attendence matters, they'd send us to St Louis or Green Bay if we have a number one seed. That's where my thinking is on that...
-
All we have to do is get a number one seed and we won't have to go east!

About Nelson: I was kind of surprised he was invited to the camp considering he hasn't exactly lit it up. But he had a real strong summer camp and I think that stuck with the USA hockey evaluators. The popular thought is that they will take either Nelson or Nick Bjugstad since they're similar players in size, etc. Most feel Bjugstad will be the one taken, even though he hasn't exactly lit up college hockey either. It'll be interesting to see the final squad, no matter who makes it. I'm excited for this tournament either way. It's kind of sad thinking it could have been in Grand Forks though.
