One player that we've shown some level of interest in has been Thomas Schutt, who plays for Minnetonka down here in the Twin Cities. He's a senior. He's already been on an unofficial visit to campus. His brother goes to UND currently, and photographic evidence suggests he's a Sioux fan. I like that. Players that aren't gopher brainwashed that live in the Twin Cities. I've seen him play a couple times. I think he's kind of in the Jason Gregoire mold. Pretty underrated,Smart, 2 way player with capabilities to shut down other team's top lines. Good skater, decent size, plays the point on the power play, good at disrupting plays and creating turnovers, has some grit and offensive skills. He doesn't have the big offensive numbers (30 points in 23 games) but part of that probably has to do with his team and the fact that they have 5 guys with 30 + points. And he does a lot of little things really well, which is why he reminds me of Gregoire. I think he's a guy to keep an eye on, particularly when he hits juniors. He's drafted by Lincoln in the USHL. I'm looking forward to the state tournament to see if anyone jumps out at me there. I've been wondering myself if anyone has any other inside info on who we are recruiting, particularly if they are in the area so I can go watch them play! So if anyone knows of any other kids I should go watch play down here, let me know! On a side note, UNO sure has gotten a lot of pretty solid recruits lately! I've been impressed with some of the guys they've been able to land.

Duluth/St Cloud fans put stuff on youtube?!

Mike Lee has never beaten the Sioux. His stats against us are TERRIBLE. I actually wondered if he is somewhat intimidated. Who knows. That said, he could shake that slump at any time so we'll need to be ready to expose all of SCSU's weaknesses for what they are.

Aaron Dell gets overlooked period. Just in talking with fans from other teams, apparently he's only having a good season because our d-core is so good. I don't buy that for a second. Sure, having good d-men is a luxury I enjoy having, but they can't do everything. Someone's got to be in the net to stop the puck as well.

I'll take Knight for my pick.

You just made no sense. Or are just confused.

For sure Comcast. All home games are televised on Comcast on the FCS channels with the sports pack. Not sure on the exact channel. I live in Minneapolis and it's in the 700s. I believe they are not on Dish.

Not to step on any toes....but that was last week.

DU against the Gophers. I'll take a split or 2 ties please. Thanks! (As long as we sweep UAA)

and why is it hard to believe alcohol wasn't involved with you? It wouldn't shock me either way, but you seem adamant that it was and it seems to be your first thought. Most people on here are more prone to jump to conclusions toward the negative side, and I find that unfair. I don't think anyone here has the mentality that we never do wrong and if you honestly believe that, you're being kind of naive. Using the past indescretions as an example, why would any of us say the sioux do no wrong? That's COMPLETELY misguided. Hak said there were no rules broken, and I don't think he would say that if it wasn't true. He hasn't hid from the facts of all the other incidents over the years and I don't see him starting now. The fact of the matter is, the Kristo's requested privacy. UND is respecting those wishes and so should everyone else but apparently everyone else thinks it's their "right" to know, when it's not. Sorry, but there's more important things to worry about.

I like the live chat because it tells me what's going to happen before I either see it happen or listen to it happen

I cheer for an arena collapse. Or 2 ties. And of those 3, I would prefer BU.

In my opinion, if you're competing at this level, mental preparation should not be an issue. You're not getting a free education to show up for games unprepared. It's kind of like if you are a back up goaltender, you should always warm up like you're going to play because if you're not prepared when you get sent into the game... all you're doing is letting your team down. So in short, always prepare like you're going to be playing.

Well... a reeeeaaaaaalllly long time ago when we had that fog out game at Boston College, an establishment formerly known as "Boston's" had the game on. Of course CBS College Sports was known as CSTV back then. Oh, memories.... I don't live in GF anymore, but I feel as though BWW's would have the game. I'd make a call and find out.

This is the most ridiculous thread EVER. I feel sorry for those who legitimately believe Hakstol should be fired. Yeah, because that makes all the sense in the world...

Do you ever post anything positive? Or is it always negative with you? It seems there is an increase in posters around here when there's something to complain about....and I am wondering if you are one of those people?
