It's obvious that people are stuffing the ballot box. You can vote as many times as you like if you just turn off cookies. Turn off your cookies, vote, then refresh the page and you can vote again. The fact that there is a way to vote multiple times invalidates all results from the fan votes. They need to come up with a better way to only allow one vote per person per day.

Nice game for Cam ! At least I think was, from watching the webcast I'm not sure they used a puck in the game tonight. What an embarrassing webcast, video quality from 10 years ago. I thought all the teams in the NCHC were committed to doing things at a high level. Spent $80 million on the building and $8 on the broadcast.

Vikings hit the trifecta today. Playing was crap, coaching was crap, and the refereeing was crap. Because of one and two, three didn't matter. Irregardless this referee crew needs to be penalized by the league.

That holding penalty shows the complete stupidity of the rules. Montana State uses their last timeout after second down to stop the clock with 1:07 left in the game. UND gets a holding call on third down but the play clock is reset and the game clock is kept running. So basically UND benefits from their own holding call and can run out the clock without getting a first down. Then for some unknown reason UND decides to hand off the ball instead of just kneeling out the game. The UND coaching staff needs to wake up and understand what is happening on the field. Absolutely no reason to take a chance on that last handoff. In the future it would appear to me you could run out the clock once the other team has run out of time outs. Just need to run one play to get the clock started and then keep taking false start penalties to get the play clock reset.

So UND student R. J. Morin was on the task force that came up with the nickname list but doesn't plan to vote. What the he!! was this person doing being on the committee in the first place ? Great idea putting people on the committee that are this passionate about the nickname. What a brilliant leader we have in Kelley, how will UND ever survive when he leaves !

On the basis of that one play alone they deserve to lose this game. Absolutely mind blowing.

That is the dumbest decision I have seen in a long time. Throwing into 5 man coverage would be a terrible decision even if you had an accurate QB.

How about we also add the option to go without a nickname. If anyone gets 50%+ then we go with that option. Otherwise we have a runoff between the top two.

How long will it take to move on ? A very, very, very long time. I believed from the beginning of this process that the North Dakota option never stood a chance of being on the ballot. No chance that Kelley would allow it. None. Even though he said early on it was an option he had no intention of allowing it. He just didn't have the guts to say it and wanted the committee to take the heat. If by some chance the committee had put it through he would have vetoed it at some point. No use taking the heat if there is a chance you can pass the buck. Great leader. There was never any chance that we would go without a nickname no matter what the public wanted. Kelley never wanted to keep the Fighting Sioux nickname but did not have the courage to say it. Pass the buck, find someone else to take the heat (tribes, conference commissioners). No courage or leadership on this issue. With that option off the table now, will Kelley commit to going with the nickname that gets the most votes ? Absolutely no reason now for him not to unless he already has a nickname that he wants to use.
