First time seeing MSU this season. Not impressed.

I certainly hope not.

I would be very hesitant to sign Darnold to an extension. Going to cost too much and I’m not sure he is the long term answer. Even tagging him for one year will be costly and the Vikings have a lot of other needs to take care of. This is a pretty old roster and they have very few drafts picks next year. They have done a terrible job drafting the last number of years now. Let’s see how the playoffs go but I have a feeling they are one and done. If Darnold can get a few playoff wins I might be convinced to franchise tag him but I have concerns about how long he holds the ball and that too many of his throws are high, just think his accuracy is not quite where it needs to be.

Very big. A loss makes a Super Bowl appearance highly unlikely. Winning three straight road games is significantly harder than winning two home games. A loss tonight means they will play the Rams next weekend, not a good matchup for the Vikings defense.

Slather is in his 6th year at UND. overall record: 67-105 (.390) conference record: 33-53 (.384) Only season above .500 was last year (18-14). Unless this season turns around significantly it is time for a coaching change. This is certainly a difficult time to be a coach at a mid major and consistently win but we’ve got to be able to do better than this.

I would use a points system to seed teams. Two points for a win, one for a tie. I would award bonus points to division winners, say three points.

Not as pissed as the 14 win wildcard will be having to go on the road.

If they played again tomorrow it’d likely be something like 8-1 Denver.

So basically a normal game for them.

Looks like a game between two bad teams.

Nothing becoming about it.

As long as they have tickets they can go and watch the games.

Final non conference record: 5.17-5.83. Went 2.17-1.83 against RM and BSU. Only won 1 of 4 games in regulation (and 3 of 4 were at home). Wow.

What was that noise at the end of the game? Oh, that was the final nail in the Pairwise coffin.

I have little to no faith in Chaves making a good choice. His judgement is lacking just based on giving Bubba an extension last year. I hope he makes a great choice but I’m not too confident.

If Chaves won’t do anything about Football Bubba he sure as hell isn’t going to do anything about Hockey Bubs. Long past time for Chaves to go.

After tonight we will have played 40% of the regular season. Coming into this game we have a non-conference record of 4.67-4.33. This is a very average hockey team right now. Their chances of making the NC$$ tourney is not very good if they lose one or more this weekend and they are in trouble tonight. They will need to go on a huge run the rest of the season or win the frozen faceoff in order to lose another first round NC$$ game. Very unimpressed with Berry as a head coach.

Not sure the coaches know what they saw. Maybe they played paper/rock/scissors to pick the starter.

Time for Chaves to show his cards. Do you care about the football program or not? If you do you’ll find a way to get a buyout done. If not you’ll continue with the status quo.
