the mature issue ont his team just doesn't lie with the freshman. there is a certain defenseman who shall remain nameless that wears number 24 that needs to stop being so reckless soemtimes. don't get me wrong I really like how he is developing but there have been a few times this year where he loses his composure and starts taking dumb penalties-sat night for one and in denver where he took like 5 or 6 penalties on the weekend.

and what will protesting do? nothing. we can't go back and replay the games. officiating isn't what is costing us some of these games. yes the calls play into it but on saturday night did the offciating in the first 59 minutes and 56 secons prevent us from putting the puck in the net one or two more times? these calls suck but if we don't put ourselves in a position to where these calls can make difference we'll be a much better team. this team has to learn how to score more goals and when it does these calls won't make a difference. we score one more goal in duluth on sat night that call is moot point. we just need to hope this squad matures over the next few months and starts scoring more than 3 goals on a regular basis. wcha officiating is what is and I don't forsee changes coming anytime soon so bitching and moaning isn't going to solve any of these issues.

I'm guessing with health issues that could occur again this season.

the loss of genoway at the moment is huge, but how much are we missing the likes of frattin right now. we are missing that veteran scorer. malones' game isn't scoring, trupp's is playmaking, zajac's is mr. work your ass off in the corners and vv' s is just a workhorse.

agreed one of these years it isn't going to happen and with the amount of freshman we have and injuries this might be the year that it doesn't happen.

and in his postgame hak said they are going to count onthese guys stepping it up, we are in deep trouble if that is the case. the only freshman worth a s#$% are kristo, macwilliam and gleason.
