second half swoon? we're two games into the second half. also the last two years their swoon as you would call it has been injury and departure relaterd. two years ago rueggseger(sp) was hurt and missed a good chunk of the second half, lost brock trotter to an early departure and lost bozak for almost the entire second half last year. not that different than us with losing genoway for a huge part of this season.
want to place a wager? say a beer at the denver series. we had a perfect opportunity to sweep the gophers here and blew it, I don't see us doing much better than a split down there.
I can really see us coming out and flying on fri night, sat nights has been another story with this team and we'll have to see. like others have said before this is one of the more sweepable series out there for us in the second half and if we are to make a run it will need to start here.
not that surprising, who would cover it in the chicago media market? I can't see many outlets in chicago lining up to broadcast a notre dame/colgate game
if you go back to the brad miller time around turkey day, trupp said something about maybe seeing frattin soon or something along those lines. so maybe this has been in the works for a while.
I wouldn't break up trupp and malone right now as they are our best line. I can see in a few weeks vv, frattin, gregoire and then trupp, malone and kristo as out top two lines. and zajac, mario and hextall as our third line.
und history will reveal that the sioux don't fare well in 1-0 nothing games in their history. it is ridiculous the number of times und has lost a 1-0 game versus winning one. that said I hope it isn't a 1-0 game.
maybe it was bias there has been speculation over the years that canada does this in reverse and tends to leave us college players off. anyways if it was good for dean.
