Maybe, you have to see it live, but the outdoor games have lost any small novelty appeal they had for me. It's never as bright as inside and you can't see the crowd on t.v., plus the variable ice conditions and weather. I will be jacked for the Sioux/UNO outdoor game, though. That will be a big day for college hockey, though. I wonder if it'll be on NBC Sports.

He failed to put his team before himself. And the President invited the Bruins to honor them, not to make them kiss his ass. he said a lot of nice things about Thomas in his speech. Too bad Thomas was too dumb to appreciate it. And, nobody was trying to stop him expressing his idiotic opinion. So I don't know why you're talking about free thinkers and the bill of rights. I wonder if his rep is trying to convince him to go to the WHL even though he doesn't want to go to Everett,so he(the rep) is working behind the scenes to keep Jones looking at the WHL. From what I've heard about Rand, I don't think I agree with her way of seeing things. I don't think anybody succeeds on their own, we humans are social animals and we're all part of something bigger. That's what has allowed us to succeed as a species. Go live on a desert island alone and see if you become a wealthy self-made man or woman. Just my opinion. I haven't actually read the books, though, just going on what I've heard. Have you heard of the Fountainhead by Rand? You might like that.

The Mankatos and techs of the world are really the guilty party. They broke up the WCHA and invited a bunch of CCHA teams! We had no control over the formation of the NCHC, obviously, but the greedy WCHA leftover teams were only looking out for themselves when they added all those non-WCHA teams and RUINED the WCHA. Certainly the Big Ten and NCHC schools are equally blameless, according to the logic of this thread.

Just too much going on. There are too many colored patches and stripes, so all the jerseys are different even though the layout is the same. Look at the stripes, they don't even look like the same pattern even though they are, because of the 3 color scheme. Throw in the retro laces for bad measure. I like the white ones the most and green least, used to be other way around. I especially don't like the white outline around the shoulders on the blacks and greens(another difference between the jerseys), or the black shoulder and pit area on the greens. As long as we win, I don't care if they wear garbage bags, tho.

I think the playoffs this year have shown that fighting is too accepted in the NHL. Everybody thinks they have to get revenge constantly and the lunatics are in control of the asylum. Let the refs do their job. They could take control if we would just let them. (oh yeah and shanny and the player safety people need to do better, too) Not saying the world should end if two guys get in a fight, but they should get an automatic game or two like in college hockey. And if I see another staged fight with guys slapping each other on the shoulders and pretending to fight, I will puke.

Flyers didn't get fined because they didn't want to fight or cheap shot anybody because they weren't about to go down 3-0 in the series. I don't know how you can be so wrong all the time. What a brutal line change that led to the game-winner. I feel bad for them. I still think we were the better team and that game could've been another blowout. Seemed like USA took about 30 minutes to adjust to the higher pace compared to every other game they played.
