From a real birdie.... Your coach recieved a lot of bad pub and criticism for his bird flipping incident at the Mucci. You can be proud of the response from Hak to this incident. I have a greater appreciation for the guy now. 2 thumbs up for Hak and the entire UND program. He went out of his way to extend thoughts to the U hockey program and the Pohl family. Nice job coach.

SCSU 4-UM 1 Gophers will be dead compared to SCSU. 5 games in 3 days..3 days rest= L UND 2-DU 1 I think this could go either way...I dont want to hear about it CC-5 SCSU 3 Will be very interesting game. CC 4-UND 1 Next week is a different week, I don't think UND is playing well enough to beat CC. Looking forward to a great weekend of hockey!!!

As I said, The calls went both ways. They were letting some obvious stuff go for both sides. Will you admit that? Gordon was checked from behind in the 2nd OT with no call....how does that work? they would have been searching for reason to give the gophers another advantage? Not going to even start with the Pohl hit, not enough of a view for me to say. If Pohl was wearing green and white I am sure you would be consistant.

If it was so unfair why would Jutting allow the cheater to stay? Change Gophers and Lucia for Sioux and Hak and you will realize how pathetic your argument is. Think about it before you go off, think about the logstics of it. Think about the other 9 teams and think about maybe the officials make mistakes in all games and your judgement is a bit clouded in green. If you listen carefully, and look closely.....The black helicopters are always there...... Amazing...absolutley amazing. The most incredible part is being able to move the pipes with the new remote system. To perfectly place them...just incredible what they will do to keep the gophers in it.

Unless BU and Vermont, UMD etc play well into next weekend, If the Gophers win 1 game this weekend I think they will make it. I would rather sweep Mankato and not worry. Hope you catch them on an off night or afternoon or when they are dissinterested. I think this weekend will be more of a challenge than the Final Five, you have to fight against overlooking Tech. Tech is the type of series that can bite you, underperforming team during the season, difference making goaltender, seasons over if they don't advance and not a rival. I think you win, I think complacency is your biggest challenge this week. On paper you have the talent to beat all teams, puck luck and desire are what will stop you. Besides that, I would take the offensive game directly at you. To many teams go to the perimeter on you. I would attack the slot and pressure JPL(not run him) let him know you will be there all day. If you attack and pressure JPL you will get scoring chances as a result of the pressure and the penalties. Your weakest link is also your strongest. You stand up for your teamates...without composure. Your penalty kill is solid, You will see more desperate and talented power plays as you advance, that will be your test in my opinion.

I would think the fact that kids are being recruited at such a young age now. Remember when you were 16 vs 18, big difference in what you were capable of and willing to do, to be what you wanted. I have always believed when a kid commits, leave them alone. If they call you after a commit, the kid needs to inform the committed team that they are looking elswhere before anything happens.

It may be bush league, if you think a kid like Nick Mattson isn't hearing from other schools regulary, you are kidding yourself. If you think Hak doesn't do it too...I don't want to argue the morality of it. Don't hate the players, hate the game. I know Grant Scott(UM recruit from Penn.) was recruited up to signing day by East teams and it wasn't pretty.
