I didn't intend to pry, I was just curious with your massive participation on here.

As long as the Gophers play in the "the dance" I don't care who we play to get there. The ironic thing is the Gophers may play just as long as UND, not nearly as well for most of it. They just have to get there. It's the most wonderful time of the year. AZ- what do you do as a profession? You are on here almost all day! Just to be clear this weekend, I am rooting for UMD to lose, nothing else.

Easy gopherz! One weekend doesnt make us a good team. If we do what you wrote...we will be sitting nicely. Just let these guys talk the talk and we will sneak in an make our mark. One game at a time, a loss for us will be much more damaging than the loss for MSU. I still think home ice is out of reach, I would love for Wisco to fade and miss the tourney. I will be in Madison the weekend of the regional and would love to buy some tickets off of BaDger fans!!!! Way ahead of ourselves to think about the NCAA's.

Well said AZ, it is lost on me why some people complain about getting leaders on soon to be signings. From what i have seen USA is a good source of hockey info, if anything, whining about the lag time only deters from sharing the knowledge. USA doesn't have to share his info with this site, respect that and appreciate you have a contributer on here that actually wants to keep credibility. Sorry this comes from a Goofer fan, it may hurt your "street cred"

So you are scared of us Its amazing that a team like Princeton can have that large of an effect on that many teams pairwise number. Very interesting 4 weeks of hockey coming up! I feel sorry for the bastards that don't get college hockey, I am a big college hoops guy and the weeks up to selection sunday don't hold a candle to NCAA hockey!

It made this year easier to take as a Gopher fan. My fantasy team scored more than 2 goals every week!!! AZ does a great job and an interactive site would be great too. Then you wouldn't have to ask me what team my line-up was for I would have no problem shelling out $20-50 to play. My wife may even play next year.

I think this weekend is interesting for the Walski (sp?) aspect. I think other than Sat. night in St. Paul its the only true stumbling block going into the NCAA's. As a College Hockey fan I am looking forward to a Michigan vs. UND Final.

I am not sure a 5 GA weekend results in "Stock Rising" If you are talking 2008, I agree. I think the column that will kill his shot is the national perception of the W-L record. 8-10 losses with the top 1 or 2 defense groups and team in the country on paper coming into the year isn't enough. I would love to see a goalie with the effect he has had on your squad win it. I admit I wasn't a big JPL supporter coming into the year. He has changed my opinion of him tenfold(still hate the flops). I just don't think a down overall WCHA in national perception and the losses with what was supposed to be a dominant team will cut it. Porter is my guess as well. I thought this would be Oshie's going away at the beginning of the year, shows what I know. Atleast you guys have a couple players to talk about.

You are correct, Peltier can't hold a candle to Prpich for cheap play. I am not going to defend Peltier for beating on Trupp, I do question the "halo" UND appears to wear in that regard. You proved my exact point, if it was Prpich hitting someone like Barriball, its tough Sioux hockey, Peltier does it and its assault. I don't condone punching someone on there back whatever the sweater colors and think Peltiers smallish 2 minutes was a bad call. I also feel if it wasn't such a one sided attack, Malone should have recieved more attention from the officials for 3rd in. Adam had no control over the game and niether team liked the result.

The best road for you may be to have Miami get a #1 and UND be in that region. They will likely, barring a gopher like appearance, win the first game. Having a WCHA first round opponent being avoided, it ends up a nice road to Denver.

He is a radio personality in Minnesota-you are fans of another team. You are not going to agree with his opinion on your team, or his on my favorite team or his on most things because of your difference on UND. Most of you can't stand his opinion yet, you listen...... You have an opinion and he does, you are not going to agree when looking through green or maroon colored glasses. It's not going to happen. Unless he says you are the best team in hockey and your team is all saints and Minnesota is not, you wont be happy. He is not going to, get over it. How people can have such a difference of opinion on something with video is beyond me and a great display of social differences. I think it's in the middle of both homer sides. Neither team was without fault and calls could have gone either way on many things. We all won't agree, ever. As you all know you have open minds and we dont.... I dont agree with everything he says either.

I posted this under the article as well... Nice article Dave, in rivalry we tend to celebrate the disdain for each other more than the respect earned by two top notch programs. Thanks for concentrating on the reason we were all there and watching, the hockey.

Relax....wow! I am not a troll. I was commenting on the Oshie thread that had people fighting about being judge and jury. You may change your opinion too.
