5-5 over the last 3 years is VERY good? I hope I have seen the last of Frazee for a while. I think you have to give Kangas the next 4 games unless he blows big time. Frazee is a train wreck and Solei, while a good story is not going to lead them to the playoffs. I think they hitch the trailor to Kangas and see what the kid does. I might give Frazee a game against AA to see where he is. I would be fine if he doesn't play again.

The reality that is this year is tough to swallow. I just have to get my jabs in before we cant see you guys in the standings. I hope we can come around and play for the 3-5 positions. We will know much more after the next two weeks for both teams. If you continue your splitting ways it may be a dissapointing end. If we don't get 6 points in the next 2 weeks it will be the start of dissapointing end for our season. Okposo and Stoa or not.

If what you say is true...perhaps that is why they vote not to play that game? Either way, you can't win if you are Minnesota in this instance. That's convenient. So we are not going to be there..but, the WCHA is going to put Campion et al in place to ensure it? I see a pattern here. Just creeping out of my hole. I agree with most of what you said. I never said the pairwise position would improve after this weekend, my comment was on the WCHA and that always matters. I would strongly dissagree that your four were asked to play the roles that our Freshman D are being asked to play. It wasn't an excuse, just a contributing factor to why we are where we are. My point was that many fans on here are bashing the Gophers for the results on the ice, and rightfully. I was simply saying if we had the expectations you did, I would be more dissapointed. Not trying to troll, just wanting to add a little levity. I appreciate your well rounded view on college hockey.

Your standing is not much better in the WCHA. You are 4 points ahead with an extra series played. You all seem to be out of your minds with Sioux flu as well. We arent in as bad of shape as you would like to hope we are. I see what all other Gopher fans see, I choose to apply my own thoughts and observations. The begining of the year, if you looked at where we are today, who is the biggest dissapointment? You guys were talking about undefeated seasons. Look at the standings, you should feel worse than I do. We have a couple of good reasons for struggling(Stoa injury, young defense and Carman's issue along with our top two D-man leaving early). We are having a down year, I would say you are having as bad if you figure in the expectations. IMHO.

I agree on the AHA. I disagree on the playoffs. You could say that playing UND at home would be a good opportunity for say SCSU in the WCHA playoffs, cause you can't win 2 in a row at home or anywhere.

The reason to be positive is history shows you play much better in the second half and you have one of the top 4 teams in the country when you're playing well. You guys have been spoiled by the last 3 years of final fours, it's not that easy. With Lammy, you have a shot in any game.

What's really embarrassing in talking so much about such a crappy team that took it to you, at your house, for 5 periods and should have won both games... Kangas will be our #1 and we will be fine for the second half. We will make the tourney and nobody will want us as the 12th seed in their bracket. Thanks for your concern

I would never question if he wanted to go last year, he did. They offered him a minor league contract and he declined. The concern for all of College Hockey is that a GM calls a kid in the middle of his season, not from the AHL squad, his school and offers the kid a better deal than he did 4 months ago. If it was Oshie we were talking about, I think many of you would be less smug about him not enjoying UND. I think all of us would agree it's easier to play hockey professionally than it is to take a full course load and play in college. My point is only that this is just the tip, if a kid comes back, I think he should have to play the whole year before he has contact with the team that has his rights.

Be carefull to enjoy anothers misery. This isn't a day to rejoice, it's a terrible day for college hockey fans, "Goofer" fan or Gopher fan. It's only a matter of time before one of your beloved boys get's there arm twisted like Kyle did.

I think you should read my post. I never said for a fact anything, I gave an opinion. It has nothing to do with past years players or Lucia. Where did that come from? David is the type of defenseman Minnesota is known for producing, again no bearing on Finehage. Say all you want about White, I don't take that as a personal insult like you appear to have taken my comments in regards to Finhage. If we recruit another player from an area you live in I would be interested in your opinion, I don't have to make it mine. I am not trying to be a troll, I am giving an opinion on a player. The only thing I did say that you correctly represented is that I said, I thought he was a four year guy. I thought Nick M was a huge get for you guys. Very impressed with him. I dont understand why some of you think because I am a Minnesota fan I can't be objective, if anything else look in the mirror. No insults intended to anyone.

Here is some proof for you. Read the CSS report on Gopher David Fisher-I will give you he is a different player if you give me he had better hands and feet than Finehage does. Watch Fisher this weekend and tell me he is all he was cracked up to be. Right now, he is a four year player.

No winning with some of you It's my opinion, I would guess I have seen him play more than most of you. I appreciate your faith in your coaches and other rankings, I think the kid is overrated, has has slow feet and a ways to go with his hands. Last time I checked his name wasn't any of the above, that argument is mute I have been wrong before as has CSS. No envy, I will be able to watch him on TV as much as you will.

I have seen Finehage play 8-10 times and I dont see a 2 year player. I see 4 for sure, I am not as high on him as some people. With your recruits coming in I would think he is a 6th or 7th guy. I will admit that is more of a compliment to your incoming players than it is a question of Finehage's talent.

Its Gopher vs. Sioux week again. My favorite week of the year, regular season that is. Looking forward to visiting the GF again. When I saw this weekend on the schedule I was thinking a 1 vs. 2 match up in the WCHA standings. Our teams, so far, have struggled to reach pre-season expectations. However, I think we can all agree we have the same interest in this series. I hope to see some of you there, I will be in 111 second row with my wife and some UND fan friends of ours.
