Looks like ticket prices will keep going up until they see a drop in attendance, and with our attendance numbers thats not likely going to happen unless they have a string of bad seasons.

It's stable as long as SV's honest opinion doesn't come true, in the latest history of the NCAA's musical chairs of conference moving might. Who knows after we join the SL we could be invited to another conference.

With the addition of UND the shift is definately towards I-29 and away from Indiana. Unless the MVC implodes and poaches the Summit League, I think we are going to make the conference the most stabilized it's been since the SU's joined.

At least we have never been part of a conference that had a shot at losing an auto bid like the SL did. We bring stability to the revolving door conference next year.

Maybe a Big 10 team like Minny, Wisconsin or Nebraska, since they are loosening their ban against FCS teams.

For the first time last season the football team had a logo on their helmet that wasn't the interlocking ND, there has never been a logo at the 50 yard line either at Memorial Stadium or the Alerus. The words Fighting Sioux or Sioux was always in the end zones until 2012 when the name was retired. A new turf I am sure is coming when they change conferences in 2020. The football team and stadium is more Hawk acceptable than any other sport including the coaches. Bubba always sports a Hawk hat, his players cheering on the basketball team with Hawk cheers. I guess maybe the REA needs more time to be more Hawk acceptable.

The basketball shorts had the logo, the football team had the logo on the chest, so no need for an outrage.

Regardless if the athletes can realize it or not it's very childish.

No the logo would not, as it didn't at Scheels Arena.

There is nothing wrong with our new logo on the ice. Also the NCAA has 2 logos that are white on the ice and they don't blend into the ice. Our logo would look nice and fit inside the circle just like the interlocking ND did last year and the Sioux logo prior to that.

I love the Sioux logo at the REA, but not embracing the new name and logo is what I have a problem with.

No, I will always support the school and it's athletes. Just disappointed with the REA management.

How much Sioux gear was in the stands prior to the nickname retirement about 99.9%, how much now just 5 years later? They pan the crowd there are a lot of jerseys with just the interlocking ND and the word North Dakota on it, now with a newer jersey with a Hawk on it, thats more non-Sioux hockey gear people will buy.
