The Big Sky is unique among FCS conferences in that we make money through television. Many FCS conferences pay to have their games on TV. You mean the MVFC doesn't make money for NDSU football being on KVLY?

Even the Maroon and Grey at Central lasted only 2 years.

I think with the weather and the flooding baseball doesn't work for us up here unless we had a dome.

Is there a list of schools that use actual attendance instead of paid attendance? I suppose the NCAA doesn't care as long as the $$$ rolls in.

I wouldn't think they would fire a coach because of an OOC game even if it was against a rival team. NDSU still has a shot at the dance and this loss can only make them stronger.

I agree with this. It was ugly both teams did poorly shooting it was just UND getting ahead at the right time of the game. The game could have gone either way NDSU up by 5 UND up by 2 just back and forth. Both teams were not solid at all.

I hope GT agrees to another home and home, and doesn't back out because UND ranked 270 in Sagarin ratings beat #85 NDSU!! This is our dance moment!!! Beating NDSU is just so SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!

Or rename the song Fight On Sioux to Fight On U. It doesn't sound that good but most people like me just like the music.

UND did that when they were nicknamed the Flickertails. Even though that was the name UND was still known at the Nodaks or UND. They never had a Flickertail logo and it also was not on any uniforms. The hockey crowd wouldn't like it though.

And a die hard fan too, I am just scared that if this law comes back and we end up back on the H&A list we are going to see a domino effect of bad stuff coming to UND athletics like possibly getting booted from the BSC, not having teams schedule us, and ending up in a dead-end conference (Great West, Independent). Hockey could be fine unless maybe the Big 10 adopts the NA policy like Minny, UW, and Iowa has. It is just a bad oman that this law could come back to haunt us.

The fact that UND gets rid of football etc or the fact we get booted from the BSC. If they get booted you might as well get rid of them. Football cannot survive in Indy land, the basketball and VB teams go back to the Great West. Yikes.

Just a general question for UND fans....If these petitions to make it and the state law is back. If UND is somehow booted from the Big Sky and basically has their athletic departement go up in flames....how many of you would become NDSU Bison fans? I hate to say it but for me living in Fargo with no other DI school around (as UND wouldn't have a football, bball, or VB team) it would be tough not to become a Bison fan.

I think AG Wayne Stemjum should've came out and ruled if this petition is consitutional or not. This guessing game is just going to piss a lot of people off if it goes either way. All that work just so he can say its not constitutional. I hope the SBoHE is brainstorming what is going to happen if enough signatures are met. Its out of UND's hands.
