1993 UND vs NDSU. The game that broke the 12 year curse. Watching fans run around on the field with the goal post was a sight. That year has been the only year I attended every home game, and that game capped it all off.

Is Big Sky TV a paticular channel like Fox College Sports, or Altitude?

Like 100,000 people in the FM area where you drive around and you see sometimes 2 or 3 different NDSU signs. Plus billboards all over town. Funny how KVLY doesn't advertise anything with UND since they are Fargo/Grand Forks. I do hear UND mentioned more on WDAY TV maybe because their radio stations broadcast UND sports. I just think UND is lacking big time in marketing when compared to NDSU. As far as radio in Fargo what about Bismarck, and Minot they have NDSU sports what about UND, just how much UND is broadcasted in the western part of the state (besides hockey).

Here is an example of bad marketing for basketball: No one outside of the GF metro can listen to the game on radio unless you have a computer. How about striking a deal with WDAY and other radio stations to bring Sioux basketball to the air state-wide. Also television..need more bball game on tv. FSSN televises all home hockey games, why not ALL the basketball and football games too. Around Fargo you have BIson fever here, a lot of yard signs around town does UND have any of those? I don't see Sioux fever in Grand Forks. UND needs to get the word out to the state that NDSU is NOT the only DI school in the state. That my friend is marketing.

Bad marketing + transition = bad attendance....look at football. If our hockey team wasn't marketed like it is plus was going through a transition (no playoffs) it would see a drop too.
