But they won the National Championship so there should be a huge convoy of teams in line for the Fargodome...remember they could beat Alabama.
-
I thought NJIT was going to light us up in the first half. They had a guy that outscored UND 11-10 at one point. UND shut him down in the second thought. Jones really got his group going after halftime. FT's still a huge problem.
-
And against Sioux Falls.
-
If we score TD's we won't need to worry about a kicker,

http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/227644/ Not everyone is for it. If it was so we would have gotten the SR tribal council on board for a vote of their whole tribe, also the NCAA is not for it or else that policy would have never been born. I am for the name but not at the risk of getting booted out of the Big Sky.

62-50 UND with 6:31 left

Oxford vs the REA... C'mon man!!!!
-
BSU could have won or at least played for a national title if the FBS was set up not to punish those out of the BCS conferences. I would tell UND until there is a playoff in the FBS......STAY OUT!!!
-
http://www.fbschedules.com/ I found this link to all future FBS games. UND plays SDSU in 2012, Wyoming 2015...I could have sworn Faison said they locked up Bowling Green but don't see it yet.
-
An honest question....how many games will that roof be open? I see maybe the first few at the most. I never see that roof open in Nov or Dec (playoffs) unless its in the 50's.

UND would be the next Eastern Michigan of attendance if we went FBS. EMU wouldn't even come close if they used Grand Valley State's stadium. That 15,000 attendance rule was put in so the FBS doesn't look like March Madness where a team can average 500 fans can get into "the Dance". Until there is high demand in attendance (ex. REA), we will be in the FCS for quite awhile. When the Alerus opened we had attendance of 11,000 plus regularly lets get back to that first before any talk of a 25,000 seat stadium. You want UND to play in a stadium that big go on teambuilder.easports.com and make UND a 25,000+ seat stadium. The demand is not even close to being there.
-
Why not, its not like 13,500 people will show up against SD Mines. I would be surprised if 5000 show up in the Alerus. Now if it was against a FCS Opponent, then I would suggest kick it in the @ss and get it done even if they are working 24/7

And yet the government does nothing about this corruption? The NCAA is going to do whatever they want and they know they can get away with it, because no one has the balls in congress to step up to the plate and call out their corruption on CSPAN.

http://www.undsports.com//ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=1291939 Dressler vs. Top 25/Postseason What separates Dressler from many is his ability to continually rise to the occasion in the "big game." In 15 career games - the equivalent of a full season - against either nationally-ranked opponents or during postseason games, Dressler has caught 107 passes for more than 1,000 yards and 13 touchdowns, while racking up more than 2,000 all-purpose yards. Among the more memorable performences: Had 10 catches for 122 yards and season-high 225 all-purpose yards in NCAA quarterfinals at #1 Grand Valley St. Scored game-winning 50-yard touchdown with 54 seconds remaining at #2 (DI-FCS) Northern Iowa Tied UND record with 15 receptions for 159 yards and a touchdown at #12 Nebraska-Omaha

Details??
-
Now only if Brian Jones can match that...well actually he won't in the National title category unless UND becomes the next Kansas (which won't happen).
-
Realtime RPI: UVU 263 UND 271 Sagarin: UVU 241 UND 256
-
Except UND is winless on the road. If we do win it won't be by 30...maybe 3.
-
Just pretend UVU is NDSU and WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I remember the first national title game in 1997 a packed Hyslop Sports Center...I have never heard a building so loud in my life. He did a great job at UND and will be missed.

13. The Williams County jail has increased booking by 150%. With a 100% increase in inmate population. Bonds of $ 5k to $ 10 K are typically paid with cash out of pocket. The Williams County Sheriff stated that a couple of week ago he received a $ 63,000 bond in cash carried into the jail in a plastic Wal Mart bag. This part really frightens me. And can you imagine if you are someone who has lived in a tiny town all your life and suddenly your jails are filling up as a crime wave is setting into your area. You get worried. One reason I have never moved out of this state is crime. I don't like Minneapolis (city itself) because of traffic and crime, now in ND I am not saying crime is non-existant but it IS on the increase. What is going to keep the crime out west and not migrate this way? More money for officers or more officers and the latter is the problem because of the housing crisis out there.
-
Go West young man (sorta speak) its happening right now. As for paying law enforcement what they are worth. You forget those towns have had maybe 1 officer per 100 people now those 100 people towns are booming into a 1000 people town, and so on. You need to do a major hire on police and highway patrol.
-
Will all the crime, etc...make its way towards the eastern part of the state? I wouldn't want ND to be known as the crime hub of the US.
-
I still remember a Sioux-Bison game in the Hyslop where UND won and Amy Ruley refused to shake hands with Roebuck. Roebuck was a great coach in DII..I think DI has taken its toll on him.
-
Don't forget Sioux suck, and UND is NOT our rival.
