After Sunday's game I might be on throne til January. :lol: In serious though its tough to repeat, and IMO if NDSU repeats they should be known as one of the best FCS teams ever. For what they have done in a small amount of time. 2008-2012. I hope UND can imitate their success.

So far UND has played both.. non winnable (Texas Tech) and winnable (Idaho, NIU, and FSU). UND has SDSU (Aztecs), SJSU, and Wyoming...can we win any of those? I see maybe SJSU being winnable.

So what? You going with the we beat that team who beat this team who beat that another team forumla? So in basketball we beat SDSU who beat Washington who beat UCLA..so UND should be able to beat UCLA right. Sorry doesn't work.

Oh Lakes has Oklahoma and CSU on the slate. Plus the OU-NDSU game would be on ESPN2. Lakes knows it all and came up with the 800,000 total. NDSU beats the bottom feeders of conferences except CMU if you call that a conference. Ball State, Kansas, Minnesota. Come on South Dakota beat Minnesota. I can't wait til that Iowa (NOT sh*tty Iowa State) NDSU game. If NDSU can beat a tougher FBS team then they can gloat.

What would you think UND should do? Play winnable FBS teams (SJSU, Fresno, NIU) or play for exposure where there really is no shot at winning (TT, USC, Wisconsin, etc.)

NDSU according to Dan Hammer got a call "twice" from Oklahoma for a game and another call from Pitt but GT declined both saying they have their FBS game (Colorado State). NDSU has only 10 games. Not to bash NDSU but for $800,000 would you cancel CSU and take a trip to Norman? If this was UND I would say cancel the Rams and bring on the Sooners. Lets see how NDSU plays agains the big boys of the FBS not the lower class bottom feeders. I think CMU is the only FBS they have played that had a winning record.

How are we going to compete in the Big Sky if we can't win on the road? BSC is a lot tougher than the GWC. Last road win not at a neutral location...March 5th at UT-PA.

Of course NDSU fans will sign it they want to get rid of UND athletics.

I do hope 2012 has a lot of winners for UND.

Throwout 2007-2006 and beyond since those are games that counted in DII. SD Mines doesn't count in DI. Look at the difference in 2010-2011 thats a loss of 1300. At that pace the SD Mines will be around 7100.

Think about it...if our offense had a solid passing game along with a good running game it would keep defenses guessing. Look at our rushing last year great the first part of the year until defenses knew we couldn't pass worth a damn so they moved more into the box and shut down our running game and made us pass. It worked to some degree. But if we had solid passing to start the year (remember most including me thought Bradley was the answer) and used that scheme all year we may have beaten Idaho, and Fresno, and Cal Poly. Especially Cal Poly and Fresno. I blame our defense more towards the Idaho loss. IMO we blow SD Mines away. Then if we can put up big numbers on PSU in our BSC debut (altough non-conference) we may start to get some respect among BSC fans. Right now the only fans that do respect us in the BSC is former GWFC teams and maybe UNC. Sac St fans don't think much of us, EW sees us as NDSU minus the mascot, and Montana has no fear whatsoever. So we need to come out in this conference and start exploding on these teams both on the ground and in the air....and get some respect!
