The only con about an outdoor stadium is bad weather. If its a nice fall day temps in the 60's a light breeze then no problem, but 10 degrees, snow and wind chills at -15 then you wish you had a dome.

I agree. We should be fans of UND not just the nickname. Its hard to let something go, but in time it will grow on you. I have a shirt I got at Target about a year ago it just has University of North Dakota est. 1883. No Fighting Sioux and no Indian logo. I have no problem wearing it.

This reminds me of the UND Flickertails. It was their name but unoffical, they didn't wear any jerseys with the name Flickertails only Nodaks, and there was no Flickertail logo. So what's the point of the change in the constitution besides a waste of time and something more to talk about. People want this issue to go away and until the NCAA comes out and says we are repealing the NA nickname policy all schools can return to their former name....I don't want to relive this issue EVER!!!

Nebraska was a prime example of a run first team (they used to get 300+ yards on the ground). They never had a QB known for his arm (Tommie Frazier was my favorite). I think if the BSC is pretty much a run first or close to balance offense then we fit in nicely.

I picked them to battle MSU for the conference title. CP's conference schedule doesn't have any Montana's on it. Although they do have to come to Grand Forks.

Thats probably because teams like UNC and ISU had to come from behind and running the ball isn't going to get you points in a hurry.

Oh okay. I was in elementary school when I remember it on Gateway. You had Pizza Unlimited and Howard's Pizza which I think was by El Roco.

Softees (spelling may be off) was an ice cream place across from Hugo's on 20th and next door to Judy's Bar. It then changed its name to EJ's Soft Serve. The building is still there. That is the only place I remember being an ice cream place on 20th besides the DQ in its current location on Washington and N. 5th St. Brings back a lot of memories especially growing up in that neighborhood.

Add 2 wins say a road win against EWU and at home against Montana and we are playoff bound.
