Do they still have 3 for 1's? When I worked the 12am to 8am shift at Simplot in 98 I went with a few co-workers there for 3 for 1's. Nothing like a beer at 8am.

Me, my dad, and my son will be in 215 so you will be among lots of UND fans. Not sure how many fans Montana is bringing.

My wife and son is going to that game and she will try to Bisonize my son. Poor kid...of course after that he will be with me on Oct 20th for the Montana game. He will be very confused if he is a Bison fan or a UND fan.

UND is playing great without Hanson so instead of rushing Hanson back only to have him make a mistake because his leg starts hurting or something, keep Marcus in there and have Hanson continue to get better. Our offense is not in trouble with Marcus out there and that SDSU game proved it. If Marcus was in trouble we would have had a lot of turnovers and we wouldn't have had 41 points on the board. If Marcus gets hurt then consider switching to Hanson.

I would say top 10 easy. Wins over ranked teams in Cal Poly, EW, UM, MSU, and most likely NAU that there should put UND in the rear view mirror of NDSU almost visable but not quite.

Thats why they need to play every game like a playoff game...you lose you're done. Win the conference and you won't have to stress out about getting into the playoffs (can you imagine we are actually talking about playoffs). Seems like last year we just wanted a conference title, and now we are talking about bubble teams and getting into the playoffs. Pretty cool. We have arrived!!!

Actually I would like it if NDSU was in the BSC. If NDSU had a choice all sports membership in the BSC or staying in the SL...would they stay where they are? I think NDSU wouldn't mind a basketball invite but I think their baseball team would have to stay put. It would be nice if NDSU was in the BSC for football but that won't happen. Oh and as for the name change.....FU it is.

I had doubts about Muss early on in the transition days. The 2010 3-8 season was a reason I wanted Muss gone, but when he turned things around in 2011 I figured give him a good year or two in the BSC and see what he can have this team do, and this team is shocking people. We have come close 3 times to beating a FBS team (SDSU, NIU, FSU), we have beaten ranked teams (CP in 09, USD in 2011, and SUU on the road in 2011). We have come a long way from losing heartbreaking games in 2010, and so far this team is showing something it hasn't seen since 2007....playoff capability.

8-3 has us at 7-3 in DI wins remember SD Mines doesn't count. UND would be on the big bubble if they finish 7-3 (lets call it that since Mines don't count) We can afford only 2 losses out of the 7 games remaining and its not going to be easy. Remember UND does have history problems winning at UNC (back in the DII days), UND has never won at HOME against SUU. Lets go for the conference title and not worry about if we are on a bubble or not.

Yahoo has UND at 2-0 in the conference.

I see UND winning the home games (including Montana) and on the road a win at UNC but losses to MSU and EWU. So I hope they prove me wrong because 8-3 (7-3 in DI games) IMO isn't going to get us to the playoffs unless we win the conference. So either win the conference or go 8-2 in DI games....whatever it takes to get us to the playoffs.

Today is the first day of our quest for a BSC title. The goal seems far and out of reach but anything can happen. Lets take it one game at a time and see what happens.

I agree. Carlson should have tried to get the legislature on board with renewing the rivalry for a future time to start, 2012 would've been perfect since UND was finally playoff eligible. But he laid all his eggs in the basket of the Fighting Sioux nickname and it backfired on him. Now he looks like a joke to everyone so even he did have legislature to get the teams to play it won't pass. Its up to the schools not the house or senate.

So St.Francis, Wagner, PV, Morgan St are the same as Portland State...wow.
