You sure they signed the card or did they have someone forge it. There will be a different story on Tuesday (court date) about these players...but Kolpack won't be writing it.

Thats nine schools. Omaha isn't playoff eligible until 2016, and if Oakland leaves that 7 teams until 2016. One more school bolts (before Omaha becomes eligible) or if two teams (after Oakland) bolt the Summit could be the 4 former NCC schools, and 2 others. Does GT call Doug Fullerton for an option? Does USD come crawling back after telling the Big Sky no to their invite. I think USD is in the worst shape (besides Omaha) if you tell a conference no to their invite chances are they are not going to accept you back. Unlike the SU's who were told no by the Big Sky.

As we keep winning and the word "playoffs" become more in our vocabulary a lot more people will show up. 10,000 for Cal Poly, maybe 10,500-11k for NAU (homecoming), and then 12,000 for Montana. If we win all those games our last game against SUU could be for a title and if it is....12,500-sellout!

I think the front runner of the name has to be Rough Riders. It has so much history with this state and I know its that other schools nickname but why can't UND play off of it. Red River spells it Roughriders....UND could spell it Rough Riders. Also have a different logo than RRHS. We know the colors will be different, we could have a cavalry guy on a horse or not with the UND flag lead the team on the field and he can be our mascot. We could have a woman dressed in a cavalry outfit to keep it equal too.

What is NDSU's road to the National Title game.

I am but not against the other Dakota 3. I like our new conference but I also liked playing against the other 3 Dakota schools. NDSU brings rivalry, USD was our 2004-2011 rival, and SDSU always brings a good game. Plus they are in driving range for me (except I can walk to Bison games). As my kids get older I can fly out to the west coast.

The SL would be a glorified Great West Conference.

Idaho would be in the BSC for only football (if they dropped down) and WAC for Olympic sports. St. Cloud would have to drop football if they moved to the SL, I don't think they want to pull an Omaha. As for the Dakota schools SOL...what if they invited just the South Dakota teams and leave NDSU alone in the SL.

I can see it being a dogfight for 1 spot. If Oakland leaves is the SL in danger of losing its AQ status? Also if the SU's and USD departed then I would think the SL is in the same boat as the Great West Conference (whatever is left of that).

Here is a question its not so much would NDSU, SDSU, and USD join the BSC but would the BSC invite them? The conference has 11 teams (not football) adding them would make 14. Can you have divisions in NCAA basketball? IMO if all 3 of them got accepted that would be great. I could drive to Brookings, Vermillion and walk to the Fargodome to see UND.
