I own only 1 shirt without the nickname and logo on it. Right now I am wearing my Sioux hockey jersey, and wearing it proud!!! I say if you have Sioux gear wear it. I will always wear my Sioux winter coat (I have been the last couple weeks now). Just because the name is gone doesn't mean we need to put away the gear.

Just like taking the nickname/logo away but yet selling jerseys on their site with the nickname/logo on it. When it comes to money thats all that matters.

NDSU fans "think" their pure rival is South Dakota State...but yet there is hardly any mention of them on Bisonville unless its in a game thread, the same with UNI. Its all about UND over there. We are rivals without a football game (football and softball are the only sports UND hasn't played NDSU in since NDSU moved to DI in 2004).

Is it safe to say the Great West Conference is dead or is it still alive with NJIT and Chicago State.

UND could be dancing in 5 months....that is just excitement enough!!! There are 7 teams for the BSC tournament and the regular season champs hosts the tourny. If UND wins that could you imagine playing it at the Betty, or Ralph? A lot of excitement plus another trip to Fargo for the team in December. Win or lose its going to be a fun year.

I remember that too. It would last for a long time and would go fast and slow then fast. It was amazing to watch.

Maybe the NCAA looked at their books and saw pathetic crowds at regionals and needed a spark to get more cash in their pockets so why not get an agreement with the #1 hockey building in the country and get the regionals back to Grand Forks.

I intend on going ( I am within walking distance of the Fargodome). It should be great especially since both teams are pretty much on even ground (1-1 since the series ended).

My first game was in 84. UND got beat by CC. But I remember in Jan 87 UND vs Yale and Hrkac with a wrap around goal. That was awesome to see. That whole team was amazing!!! I still have the game program to this day.

It will have to wait until 2013 as we play at NDSU this year.

Welcome to the board, and first congratulations on the huge win at Montana. That made everyone stand up and take notice on NAU. Everyone is excited to be in the Big Sky and try to compete for the playoffs after being in the GWFC for the last 4 years. UND is 0-2 against NAU so we hope to "steal" a win next Saturday against the Jacks. So again welcome to the board, should be a good game, big crowd, its UND's homecoming, and good luck the rest of the season.
