Will that game against Crown help or hurt UND against the Panthers? I am sure the players and coaches know there will be a difference between playing a DIII Christian school and playing a MVC school. I just hope everyone healed up and the buckets rain in as UND can get an upset. Massey has UNI at 88 while UND is at 266 (Crown is at 1858, and K-State at 20). They predict a 10% chance of winning. This is the reason UND's attendance is where its at. If UND wants to get into NDSU range (percent capacity not avg or total attendance since the Fargodome is bigger) they need to win....plain and simple. Look at 2001 the Alerus was rocking and UND won a National Title that carried on for the next couple years as UND broke attendance records and was in the top 10 in the nation in DII attendance. But the big thing about that was WINNING. Like Bison06 said winning comes people.

Most likely Faison. First game of the home and home was in 2010 and Bunning arrived at SMU in 08. I doubt Buning signed that back then.

Money is one thing but buying out a lot of games may blackball you across the FCS world. UM may find themselves without an OOC team if they screw everyone.

Sept 14th, 2013 would be the date. UND would have back to back byes and Sept 21 is a bye week. Before rumors start...Yes NDSU is also off on Sept. 14th but they already have 11 games so if they want a 12th game...UND could be a team they can call if UM does indeed backout. Idaho State (IMO) is still on my !@#$ list for backing out of the UND game in 2009 (replaced by the Brittney Spears concert). I can only see UND doing conference games with them only. I hope this is just a rumor with UM.

Only because we beat them this year. If UM would've won there would be no rumor and thought about a buyout. UM has had a history of buying out games and UND has been bitten twice since 2008 (Idaho State and Central Arkansas). I hope it was just a rumor by a couple of fans who don't want to go to GF. I enjoyed that game and their fans at the game were great too. If they do buyout this year...UM will be back at the Alerus in 2014 for a conference game.

UND- 195...only because of our former conference IMO. The GWC doesn't get any respect and I bet after this year our rankings will increase dramatically.

I looked at a map and the school is NOT on the rez so how come they can be the Sioux? The closest rez to them is the Turtle Mountain band of Chippewas.
