I like how they say come to NDSU and play for a winner or go to UND and never play for anything. Didn't NDSU go 3-8 just a few seasons ago? Its something how you can have a run of good luck (NDSU's transition) then all of a sudden you hit a wall (2008 6-5 and 2009 3-8). Just because you win a title doesn't mean you are automatic to win it the next season. You have to have a good class, and good coaching (or as in NDSU's case...a good lawyer).

Wouldn't that be something to get him to coach UND. But could he alone shape UND into a mid major powerhouse? I think recruits could flock to Jackson due to his popularity. If he was a serious option I would have Faison do what he could to lure him, even pay him a lot more than Hakstol.

Looks like our neighbors to the south has a lot of success so far. NDSU is at #56. Saul has that team on high. If UND keeps getting further behind then recruiting may become tougher unless Brian Jones recruits in a different region than Saul Phillips.

Maybe he blames the fatigue on altitude and the players will get used to it. That's what he should have said. It is hard to go from around 900ft to over 5000 feet, but if that's the case tell Fullerton to give UND the same deal as Cal Poly and UC Davis and lets leave the football team in the BSC and move the rest to Douple Country.

Whoa whoa.....did you just say what I thought you said?? Its just the softball team so it doesn't matter? Wow that's almost as bad as Gene Taylor saying since its not a sex or alcohol crime it doesn't matter. If UND had players on its women's hockey team that did this UND fans would care because that team is part of the school. UND is a school for all sports and a black eye in one of those sports is a big deal. NDSU fans had lots of praise of its softball team that went deep into the DI playoffs (just look at the threads on BVille), and to come out and say its just the softball team if hilarious. Last I looked NDSU is not a football only school but a school for all sports. So when the softball team does good it gets high praise but when it does bad (either on or off the field) oh its just the softball team. If siouxsports.com had a Preposterous Statements thread this would be #1 on the list. :lol:

Didn't UND play at Utah Valley every year in the GWC I can't imagine their altitude being much different than SUU's.

Maybe you should ask Bison fans why they can't respect UND when we make the playoffs, and if you think they do you are on something.

I respect the players that didnt break the law but I don't respect the players that broke the law unpunished, Craig Bohl and Gene Taylor who thinks football is above the law. Voter fraud is a huge deal and by punishing those players by turning off their tv at 9pm is not the answer to a serious crime.

Like I said a smash mouth tight game. Plus add OT for added drama. It is going to be a good game. Too bad they can't just play it this weekend instead of almost 3 weeks from now.

Could you imagine Bohl coaching for Wisconsin going into Lincoln? I can see turning down MAC schools but you don't turn down BCS teams.
