Actually it's 3rd time in 7 years. And light years in football and maybe basketball I agree but only men's basketball as UND has been to the dance in women's basketball where their women's basketball program is horrid. UND volleyball is on par or even better than NDSU. Their minor sports are better like baseball/softball, soccer. Hopefully with Bubba we can catch up in football in the near future and as for men's basketball...there is a thread for that one.

That's okay I am sure North Florida and Robert Morris will get the same exposure, once they lose the majority of basketball fans (especially those of big schools like Duke or Kentucky) won't know who NDSU is.

Just look at Bisonville plenty of WAC attack (then they folded) then MAC attack and even a Big 12 thread. Just ask Lakes how that's going.

The Bison do use the Hook Em Horns from the U of Texas. So we could borrow their state motto too.

I love how Bison fans bring up travel, because that was never an issue while trying to get into the Big Sky, or MAC or WAC or Sun Belt or Big 12..

I've been a fan since 1984, and will always be a fan of the team. Miami's secondary has always been the weak spot and I think last year was no exception. But with more of a pass rush with Suh and Wake they could make the QB throw bad passes. On the offensive side of the ball they had a hard time with the running game after Moreno went down with injury and they found a star in Jarvis Landry, plus Tannehill has really come on with the help from Dan Marino. I think good things are starting to happen in Miami they usually start strong and fail down the road, if they can turn that around and learn how to win the second half of the season this team could challenge NE for the AFC East title.

Just think what kind of a conference the SL would be if their members would've stayed put? 3 MAC teams, 8 Horizon teams, 2 MVC teams. Thats 13 teams that have gone to better conferences from 1992-2013. You mentioned there is nowhere for BSC teams to go, football yes, basketball no. Since 1963 only 4 teams have left the Big Sky Gonzaga, Cal State Northridge, Boise St, and Nevada. Only 2 of them are MWC teams after being in the WAC up to 3 to 4 years ago. The WCC has teams in the BSC footprint with BYU, Gonzaga, and Portland. But yet all the teams in the current BSC choose to stay put while your conference is one revolving door, of course your team has no where to go except the Big Sky.

Just look how attendance of football have changed before Muss took over and throughout his coaching career. Jones has hit the bottom, and if he cannot get UND into a position to be a winner consistently the attendance numbers will reflect that. Take away the NDSU game at the REA and he hasn't hit a 2000 average since Jones' coaching debut. Why do you think that is?

They don't need a poll, the attendance shows it better (see UND football).

A Suh-Nami has struck south Florida!!! Miami doing a lot of moving of players, they are trying to restructure Mike Wallace, after releasing Brandon Gibson and Brian Hartline. Tannehill needs more weapons for him to throw to. I can't wait to see how that front line of Miami's defense does this year (especially against Tom Brady) with Suh and Cameron Wake.
