It says if the school doesn't use the name/logo once in a while they lose the trademark. But what would that mean if they did lose the trademark? More unlicensed Sioux gear for everyone.

How would they handle scheduling between UND hockey, basketball, ND high school hockey tournament, youth hockey, and maybe concerts. Seems like a lot to put in one building.

Then lose the name/logo trademark so we all can have Fighting Sioux license plates. You can't tell me people in Bismarck wouldn't want these.

I would rather have Warriors than Tribe, as least we could have a decent logo with Warrior than nothing like W&M.

Exactly, when we get a great team on the floor fans will fill the building and when we have standing room only at the Betty for at least one game that is not a DI major or NDSU then let's talk about moving games to a bigger venue. As of now we are nowhere near that problem.

If UND continues this path and NDSU gets dance trip after dance trip, you will have the same thing happen that the football program experienced. A huge loss in fan base even some fans going to the other side, and a long way back to build it up.

UND is losing money by not playing a DI local team like USD and instead host a team like Presentation College or Mayville.

I find it interesting how Weber State and Montana are our conference rivals (well more Montana than Weber) and yet neither school racked up the attendance like Idaho State and Northern Colorado? I understand NDSU but how could ISU pack the Betty more than Montana or Weber State.

I just don't get how we play SDSU year after year but we have yet to play USD since they went to the SL. I wish we could play all 3 Dakota teams in one season. Its close by, and its a DI school.
