The Jacks have won 22 games so far with their 2 transfers, and yet Jones couldn't even win 10 with his transfers? Last year the Jacks won 19 and before that was 25. Let me know when Jones hits 20.

Muss 2.0. It may not take long to rebuild this team after Jones is gone....problem is, Jones is still here.

What about the opposite, maybe bringing in a coach with HC experience that proved to be a winner can attract more recruits that was turned off by Jones. Bubba had players leave when Muss was fired but look at the players that want to play for Bubba and things turned around quickly in his first year. Jones is a liability not an asset.

I know it's not like Jones is Coach K.

All you hear is NDSU this and that and UND hockey. Football is headed in the right direction, women's basketball got a spark last year while the men's need something to get on the map (signature win, NCAA dance trip and maybe a win) NDSU set the bar in that sport very high too.

Jones had 8 wins this seson...eight!!! While the school in UND's recruiting footprint and fanbase has 20 soon to be 21 wins with a first year coach. Doesn't this bother anyone else? Now men's basketball is free falling worse than the football team, at least Bubba inproved the team his first year. There are better coaches out there...hire one Faison!!

In regards to taking a team from the top and making them potential bottom feeders Babich maybe but not as dramatic as Muss did. But Rocky had the Bison at the top in the 90's then things came crashing down as the decade dragged on and into their last days of DII. Even Bohl stumbled out of the gate in the MVFC, until their run happened. Things can change quickly in college football one day a powerhouse the next day Average Joe. It will take a while and pure disaster for the Bison to lose enough fans to give tickets away at a gas station.

Success in the playoffs have kept the Bison "herd" together, but attendance did drop during and after the 3-8 season. If the Bison ever pull a "Muss" and have down year after down year that herd will thin out.

I agree. It's not the facility that wins games it's the players and coaches. UND was already good in 2001 when they moved into the Alerus and won a NC, what happened when you don't have a good coach but the same facility you get Bubba!! Is moving to the REA going to get this team to the dance faster than in the Betty? No!! I say play in the Betty unless it's a big DI team like Minnesota or Wisconsin or a rival game against NDSU or Montana. You aren't going to pack the REA playing a team like Sac St or Idaho St.

To steer away from another UND/NDSU war, I wonder how our run defense will do against a running power like Cal Poly? Does their backs return?

I am sure you said that before Indiana State beat you guys in the dome. That's why games are played on the field and not on paper which is all you can look at until September 19th.

He about a football, basketball, hockey trippleheader and get discounts, and priority seating etc for hockey if you attend the other two. Football at noon, bball at 4:30 hockey 7:30 or 8.

Actually there is however it also lists when UND had to choose a new name and it was 2011, that state law by Al Carlson messed up the timeline.

Thats stupid, that a school must keep a name and logo when they itself cannot use it. But I guess thats the NCAA philosophy.

W&M have Tribe, Bradley has Braves, and Winona State has Warriors but out of those three only Winona State has a logo other than the the letters of the school, their logo looks like USC's Trojan, or just the word Tribe or Braves. When UND picks a name I hope they can come up with a logo besides UND or the UND flame logo (unless they do go with Flames).
