I’ve seen Bison fans hate UND football less than you.

What is it to you, you only care about legit DI Championship programs, you don't have any interest in programs outside of the REA, and last I heard, the REA takes great care of the hockey team you only care about. So $30,000 of privately donated money isn't hurting you at all except to see people (especially kids) smile, laugh and have a good time with the Fighting Hawk mascot.

Privately donated. You can designate $30,000 of your own money for the good of the school in your eyes.

But how can you be pro UND while accepting the new nickname? It’s being PC, it’s not being a real UND fan. Only real fans recognize Sioux as the only nickname of the school. That is what I encounter on the UND athletics (mostly hockey) Facebook page when I post go Hawks. Why do people need to do that here if we are “all” pro UND, like Frozen4Sioux did with his rant.

We get it, you hate the name, you have your Siouxforever buddies like Petey and Oxbow to hold your tomahawk when you pee. Your rant against the name and anyone who supports it is old and nauseating. But keep up the hate, makes for good entertainment.

You didn’t mention anything about women’s basketball. Also how long ago was Bison VB and soccer in the big show?

Like crush the women’s sports so their #1 sport will be all the sports that matter...no thanks. We have a sport that some think that’s all that matter, we had to cut the fat with excess sports so we are doing what NDSU is doing...rolling with the minimum amount of sports. We have women’s teams that made the NCAA tournament, we have state of the art playing facilities except softball (unless you count the alerus). I think money wise we did the best we could do with what was available.

Correct. SDSU moved up with NDSU, just how many FCS titles have they played for? Didn’t they lose to DIII Wisconsin-Lacrosse? They have one win against an FBS team. UND has the same credentials as them, same with USD (not sure if they lost to a lower division team). So who made a better choice? UNC hasn’t done anything in the FCS except get accepted into the Big Sky despite bitching and whining from Bison fans as they were rejected. Was it a good choice for them to move up? Damn if you do and damn if you don’t.

So because people in Fargo brag about their national titles just like people in GF brag about hockey titles you call the football title JV even when UND is playing for that same title because neither us or the Bison isn’t fighting Alabama for the FBS title?

Your post is almost as bad as his, JV title? UND plays for an FCS title just like NDSU, so why would you slam a national title that we fight for.

So what’s the reason USD didn’t move up? Did RT stronghold them into staying in DII? Boy RT had lots of power.
