It’s where the jersey pic came from. So if they unveiled this in 2016 why hasn’t it been used? So the question of why the school hasn’t implicated the Hawk more for the hockey program is valid.

People hated this jersey in the time between the Blackhawk logo retirement and the birth of the geometric logo hockey jerseys in the mid 90’s. And yet people embraced this one.

Get rid of the words North Dakota and I say yes.

The logo is also on his mask, looks pretty cool.

Just like Ralph did when he created the REA, and how come North Dakota wasn’t on the jerseys from 2001-2012?

From 2001-2012 what year in the BB logo era did the logo not appear on the front of the hockey jersey? UND always had an Indian logo on their jerseys from the Blackhawk logo to the geometric logo to the BB logo except the year Baker canned the Blackhawk logo and went to generic North Dakota jerseys just like we use now and since the 2012-13 season after the name was retired. So it’s an Indian logo or nothing on the front of the hockey jerseys.

But the statement was UND has never beat anyone that FINISHED in the top 15.

Why smile about it? Locker rooms and such lure recruits, and the 52% could pay for equipment and salaries.

I think change needs to happen definitely next season. Last season injuries caused a lot of problems but that excuse doesn’t equate this season, it’s on the coaches. Offensive play calling is horrible, our special teams couldn’t out kick GF Central, and our passing defense is bad. I hate to say it but another overhaul from top to bottom may need to happen before we end up with another Muss crisis. I hope Chaves sees the need for change and finds money to get some decent replacements.

They don’t want to see more Hawk logos in and around the building, and you know in 2030 that’s what is going to happen.

She says “we” but I am sure it’s her. She is the boss.

She will support the hockey players and their scholarships.

Is she gonna demand more games in Vegas? More % of ticket sales from the football team? Gotta wonder what her deal is, is she gonna run for president of UND when Kennedy is gone.

My son is also attending as a freshman this fall. He is there for education and landing a good job, he doesn’t care about nicknames.

Nice win for the Hawks!! I hope they can continue to play the Gophers every year.
