Or better yet....get rid of the damn play in games. You win a conference title only to play another conference title team to be the #16 seed team in the bracket. I would rather see a BSC team play a #1 then another #16 seed team.

I want UND to play on a Thursday not a Tuesday or Wednesday. The goal is to be in the dance not in a play-in game.

It cheapens the regular season, hell lets go 0 for the seson and make a run in the tournament. It will up with poor attendance to those fan bases that care enough to go to Reno and when it flops it will come back to the regular season winner. As for making fun of the power conferences I don't because they aren't going to be a #16 seed playin team to go to the dance unlike a last place BSC team that makes a run in the conference tourny and ends up winning it. What fun is winning the conference tourny only to play a playin game and maybe get a chance at the dance. Wouldn't look good to have the field of 64 on that Thursday without a BSC team because they lost the playin game.

Graham Greene is the best NA actor IMO. From Dances with Wolves to Thunderheart he is a great actor.

Why will all 12 teams participate? Makes the regular season meaningless, isn't this what we poked fun of the Slummit League doing? I guess everyone should get a ribbon at the end of year too.

We can only count on WDAZ since KVLY hasn't had any or hardly any reporting on UND football this spring it's been all NDSU players and the spring game. UND needs to make noise to prove to the state especially the region there are TWO DI teams in this state.

The only plus to this is fans can plan ahead as the site won't change at the last minute, and it is the biggest little city in the world.

You mean we get a game on the Montana Sports Network. 5 times for Montana, 5 times for Montana State, 3 times for Eastern Washington. None for Cal Poly, Idaho State, and Northern Colorado.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a spring game/scrimmage in the IPF when it is completed.

While KVLY is televising the Bison spring game, couldn't WDAZ televise it? Very disappointed in the promotion of the game.

Drake, UC Davis, Idaho St, Montana St, UNC all at home and beatable, even MSU as UND played them close last season in Bozeman. At PSU, at Weber St, are also beatable so thats 6 maybe 7 wins right there, then you have the tougher games on the road, Wyoming, NDSU, Montana, Cal Poly if UND can get a W or 2 against those teams we could be playoff bound. My early prediction (which may change as we get close to September: @ Wyoming L vs Drake W @ NDSU L vs UC Davis W @ PSU W vs ISU W @ WSU W @ Montana L vs Montana St W (big crowd will help with the W) vs UNC W at Cal Poly L 7-4 close to the playoffs

So why can't UND hold on to the Fighting Sioux tradition and still have a new nickname...think Marquette!! There are still fans dressed up like Indians but yet has the new nickname Golden Eagles. To some they will always be the Warriors and will hold on to everything Warrior like (gear, chants, etc.) but to appease some and especially the NCAA they will be the Golden Eagles and fans of Marquette can sport the Golden Eagle gear, chants, etc. Its the best of both worlds in an ugly subject called Political Correctness. Now UND can be the Fighting Sioux to some and to others they can be the UND XXXXX XXXXX. Both sides can chant go Sioux, and go XXXX, they both can wear Sioux gear, UND gear and XXXXX gear. As long as we all cheer for the University everyone wins.
