There are over 347 schools that are DI, there are 62 AAU schools (60 in US, 2 in Canada), and only 4 of those schools have joined in the 21st century. If Nebraska can get booted that club is very picky on who gets in, and sorry but not many people outside of the FM area think of NDSU as a leading research college. Michigan has won the most NC in hockey but hasn't done anything in almost 20 years and I bet their fans don't look at hockey until basketball and football are on bye weeks.

People in Columbus probably travel to Ann Arbor to see a winning team.

Just remember this is an institution that compares ita sports teams with the elite teams in the country so nothing they say is shocking. In 10 years the Fargodome will be a 100k seat stadium that would put the Rose Bowl to shame.

I think fans chanting lets go Hawks and the PA announcer at the REA saying "Here's your Univeristy of North Dakota Fighting Hawk scoring" will sink into fans' mouths as time goes by. Preseason polls basically go off of last year's record especially those that know nothing about schools that aren't a "major". After what this team did in Europe I think they will be better this year.

Seems like they play well off the receivers, can't they match up on the line and stay with them, instead giving them a free 5 to 6 yard cushion.

Our passing attack isn't scaring anyone, and if you take away a very mobile QB like Studsrud you are one dimentional and if we can't run the ball we are done.
