Eric Meland commits to Princeton.. It had come down between UND and Princeton and its hard to fault a kid for picking Princeton if you have the choice and a pretty sure six figure salary and a professional hockey career isn't a sure thing. I wish him luck but wish he would have picked the Sioux.

Ankenbauer could play corner and Mitch Kudrna could be brought along as an emergency back up plan.

I think you have something against the hockey program in general and complain about it and things associated with it.

maybe the enrollment numbers have something to do with fargo have twice as many high school kids as grand forks making it all the more likely that ndsu would have more incoming students if the same proportion of seniors went to each school in their hometown. being that not many kids leave north dakota for school ndsu should have more students.

I like the idea i think it would be a lot of fun and I am a und student living in grand forks...i'd road trip to the game for sure and make a fun weekend out of it going to the mall, stop at the casino stay at a cheap hotel with some friends and have a couple beers. and the idea of it being on fsn would be great for both schools and i'd have to think that they players would like the idea of being on tv especially to the ones from minnesota who's family and friends could watch them on tv. The thing with the metrodome is they would take a small cut because there will be relatively nothing going on there anymore if the place is still operational when the rivalry resumes.
