Watched the game at Buffalo Wild Wings tonight and it was an amazing atmosphere packed with sioux fans. People were standing by the video games because they didnt have a table. The place exploded after the sioux won in overtime..it was some of the most fun i've ever had watching a sioux game on tv.

You can watch the game by going to espn.com and clicking on espn360 i'm watchin the game on my computer and it is amazing quality.

Thanks for confirming skatesshattrick thats what i had heard but its good someone else heard it to. It'd be sweet to see some more hometown boys playing for UND.

Rumor has it that the sioux coaches contacted both Demers (Grafton) and Meland(GFRR) on sunday while Demers took his visit Meland was already on his way to Lincoln where he'll play juniors. Next year Ryan Ladoucer(GFRR) will join him, Ladoucer isn't going this year because Lincoln did not want to mess up their Dpairs for playoffs. This is just what i've been told so just thought i'd throw in a little bit of information.

South isn't good enough to beat red river to get into the championship game. The top four seeds will make it to state . -

you are one of the worst judges of hockey talent on this board. hockey is more then scoring. alex simonson has speed, size, strength, and is a good special teams player, he will be in the ushl.. just cause you sucked ass at hockey doesn't mean he does. -

These tryouts are just to seperate the varsity players from jv no players are being cut. Its just being held to open up some new spots and put some kids where they belong. -

I dont think everything is as out of hand at central as you guys think it is im even going to say that central is going to beat red river next year..easily honestly central has 4 freshman(Casey Purpur is their leading scorer) on the team 1 less then their total number of seniors (4) there goalie that plays regularily is a freshman. Now look at red river they have 4 juniors one being the back up goalie, two sophmores and a freshman whos sees the ice maybe once a game. Red River has 14 seniors and 3 of their seniors are the top players in the state. Binas problem is that he has no senior leadership whatsoever and he had none last year either. Maybe if he is brought back nextyear he will have a chance to do something as they only lose 4 players to graduation. And honestly whos the dumbass who posted that central hockey players are kids who didnt make the football team. Hockey is way more important then football, period. The central hockey team will beat red river next year because red river has no one coming up on jv and all the good freshman are currently enrolled at central. end of rant. -
Area players to watch would be maybe Eric Meland and Ryan Ladoucer..Meland has i believe an offer from Harvard and Connecticut as well as another ivy league school. he got a very high act score so he has attracted a lot of ivy league interest he wants to play in the wcha though. Ladoucer is a very good player who was contacted by the penguins after selects this past summer...just passing on what ive heard.Alex Simonson is another possibility as he is a good strong player

Ludwig maybe?
