Hextall coming in was thought to be more of a grinder then a scorer but since your so busy being pissed off and whining about the team the whole time how would you know that.

Gotta wait til we get closer to the marque matchups then more talk will come about who's the best and what not.

I just laugh at you people sometimes. Hockey is not this complex game like you all make it out to be. The hard working team does not always win the game it requires talent that is willing to work hard to win. Chemistry is what Hak is testing by moving the lines around, maybe he's not the hockey genuises that you people are and he doesn't see chemistry in the lines. Genoway does shoot everytime he touches the puck. The powerplay is bad. And guess what we lost because of a lucky bounce last night. Hextall getting moved to line 4 probably motivated him to try harder. These kids don't mope around when the lines get switched they try to work harder.

Ben Mills This kid seems to be a hot commodity from the class of 2010. Has offers from 11 D-1 schools hope we can get him but at this point it looks like it would be a helluva steal. Jake Gollon Another kid we've offered. I have no idea how up to date these are i'm just bored and browsing around.

If i was traveling there is no way North Dakota would be on my list of premium destinations unless I were a hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman of sorts but the same can be said about Alaska. I agree the scenery around here is awful but as far as i'm concerned that is the only thing Alaska has going for it(besides sarah palin) and we have Sioux hockey here and they have the seawolves. Actually I believe Cichy had the 4th goal of the game so that would be 5 points? Mike Cichy made it 4-2 just past the midway point of the period, which spelled the end of the night for Sirman, who was replaced by Andrew Hare.

That is good news I also like that he listed North Dakota first..what a recruiting get this would be.

I'm from Grand Forks and am going to be recording the game on NHL Network to watch the game over again after I get home. Hopefully we show whoevers watching that the Sioux are gonna be there in the end again this year!

Jason Gregoire is going to be a stud. That had to be my attention getter as I was really impressed with him tonight. Fienhage will take some getting adapted to the college game as at times he seems lost thought i do like his size. Blood played well and held his own out there. Finley played well tonight i've been one of his biggest critics but he played with big man mentality tonight and I thought it brought an added element to the team. Jake Marto played a lot tonight. There was one power play he played the whole two minutes. He has really taken a step up and has good confidence out there, break out player of the year. I thought Miller looked better tonight then he did last year but I do agree he's not top line material though I think he'll have a good year. Both goals were not the goalies fault one was a perfect deflection in and the other there was a man in the crease. On a side not if the tribal flags hanging in the arena will let us keep the name then so be it.

Ya I'm sure Genoway will get a letter next year. But it is nice to have four strong senior leaders two on the back line and two forwards.

I actually would be surprised if one of those two isn't on the second power play unit looking at it now... I mean you can split Duncan and Kozek up but if you let Vandevelde work the front and set those two up on the wings they can each work in the corner and then get Genoway out on the point with say Marto then you got some good puck movers out there everyone except for Kozek is a pretty good set up guy. For the second unit I like Watkins, Trupp and Gregoire(Frattin if he can step up with some G's this year) because we've seen what Trupp can do out there and Watkins works his butt off all the time but granted we havent seen Gregoire play but assuming he would be an upgrade over Miller or Martens offensively I would like our second line with some hard workers and playmakers. For D on second unit maybe Finley with LaPoint or a different combination. Just one mans point of view.
