What current/recently former NHL coaches would come to UND? Andy Murray went to Western Mich, so it's not unheard of. A coach who is tired of the business of the NHL and wants to enjoy the college atmosphere, albeit in North Dakota, could be a good replacement hire for Hak once he moves on (likely of his own choice and not because he is fired.)

You're just confused. The standed Dakota 3 are completely happy in the Summit. None of them tried to originally get in the Big Sky and got rejected. The Summit is a happy place of security, rainbows and unicorns.
-
That sounds pathetic putting all that pressure on their kids. Who would do that?
-
Impressive stuff by Kristo. He has to be one of the first players ever to get a point in an AHL game while being no better than a career ECHLer.
-
Then it's good you're an NDSU fan and don't have to worry about being in the big sky.
-
I'm curious why? Other than Commodore and Greene there haven't been many UND Dmen who spent significant time in the NHL. Very good college Dmen but not great pros.

The lockers can and will be moved to the IPF.

The summit is one of two conferences that wouldn't have to greatly expand their footprint to include the stranded Dakota 3.

He might be out soon. History has shown he seems drunk every time he opens his mouth.
-
Send some drinks to Bison fans too, so they can try and forget the stress this will cause.
-
I believe they have two years to find a 6th (who is not a current move-up.) Will the Summit even exist come July 1, 2014?
-
So that leaves the Summit at 8 with Denver coming in next year. And the Summit baseball conference with just 5 teams. Does the A10 take anyone from the Summit?

You said we when talking about und interests. That's cute

AF's leading scorer, Michael Lyons, just had surgery so he is likely out for Wednesday's game vs Hawaii. He could be back for the 2nd round game, as recovery time was suggested at 7-10 days and it just happened at the MWC tournament last Wednesday.

There is absolutely a chance, however it depends on UND's non conference wins. Some wins against teams that make the tournament, plus the entire Big Sky improving their Non-Con record would help. UND would likely be a low seed regardless, but it's definitely possible.

Just to be safe... check your settings on your TV. You could have settings that are stretching it more than it should. Generally, FSN and other stations have their stuff figured out, so it usually is either on the provider (comcast, directv, etc) end or the customer's end. Especially if you're going from watching a previous UND game (4x3) and having your TV stretch it and now you're watching 16x9 and it's still stretching even though it shouldn't.

There is a chance we play Air Force again. They won't accept a home game in the CBI or CIT due to funding issues. They would accept a road CIT invite, but it's possible they end up on the road in the NIT.
-
The first round of the CIT starts on Monday, so teams should be accepting bids pretty quickly. Will be interesting to see if there is an announcement tonight or tomorrow for UND.
-
The problem with hosting a CIT game is the school has to pay a decent amount of money. If the games are next weekend, how many people are going to go to the game when the men's team is playing in the Final 5 championship and the women's team is playing for the Nat'l Championship? Hopefully, a sell out but UND is going to have to charge more than normal to try and recoup some of that money spent on just hosting a game.

I had posted in another thread that it wouldn't be HD this weekend even though they have the HD truck. Got widescreen SD until next fall. FSN was HD, Midco was not tonight. That is why the huge difference in quality.
