If you really think about it UND has nothing to do with the fact the UMD didnt get into the tourney. (not the frozen four) if you look at the rankings it was between UMD and SCSU, and your right. IMO UMD should have gotten in over St. Cloud. That doesn't change the fact that you are simply here to rake up trouble... I am about to deliver the biggest insult I can think of..... Its got to be Sejna. LeNeveu (sp) had great numbers but he had them in a crappy conference. Plus we got to root for the WCHA boy. He is a pleasure to watch play.

I can't speak for anyone esle but for me its just a fun (hockey) rivalry. Beyond that U of M sports doesn't really effect me. I can't say I root for them but I have no ill sentiment. I actually really like the campus and thought about transferring down there about 2 years ago. I would have had some hockey conflict there though. That would be like the child being pull in 2 directions by 2 fighting parents. NDSU--- I don't like the school, I don't like the campus, I really don't like the Bison. The Fargodome is not a bad place to see a concert.

I dislike NDSU more than the Gophers. I really dont mind the U of M that much but I can't stand the NDSU herd, nothing more than a bunch of cattle. If you can't beat them... LEAVE THE CONFERENCE!!!

I think the big difference between Vanek and Parise is that Vanek played Juniors. (Sioux Falls). I am not sure how long he was there but even one season in the USHL would motivate you to bulk up and play a more physical game. While I don't blame Zach for going right to college a year in the USHL might have done him some good.
